Château Lafite Rothschild 2004 is aromatic showing floral hints, blackberry, cedar, toasted oak, sweet to***co and a touch of dark cocoa. Medium-bodied, fresh acidity, silky fine tannins and a long finish. A classic Lafite, not powerful, but very poised.

Took 1.5 hours in decanter and a beauty shows up. Tasted like a first growth after all!

Blackfruits, cedar, pepper, licorice, toasted spices. Ripe tannins well wrapped on tongue. Smoky seductive!

The lovely brioche, buttery notes, toasted almond and citrus freshness lightened up our evening 🍾✨

Didn’t expect Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013 to be drinking this beautifully right now, showing generous autolytic notes, fine bubbles, and that freshness underneath.
