Our Mental Health Program recently met with educators across the CNMI for two full-day trainings on the 7 Essential Ingredients (7EI) of Trauma-Sensitive Schools.
On November 15, 2025, 32 educators from Sinapalo Elementary School and Dr. Rita Hocog-Inos Jr./Sr. High School completed the training, followed by 28 educators from Grace Christian Academy, Golden Harvest Christian Academy, Saipan Community School, Green Meadows School, Northern Mariana International School, Saipan International School, Agape Christian School, Mt. Carmel School, and Brilliant Star School on January 24, 2026.
These sessions focused on the 7EI frameworkβsafety, trustworthiness, collaboration, empowerment, and emotional attunementβcore practices that help schools create supportive environments where all students feel understood, connected, and ready to learn.
Thank you to all participants for your openness and commitment. Your continued efforts strengthen trauma-sensitive practices across our islandβs schools.
