Donate Books for Libraries in Tanzania

Soon back to Tanzania (and Kenya)
It’s the time to go back to East Africa. Not for 1 whole year this time, but for 4 months only till mid-May. Not to do library work in 1 or 2 places but to visit as many of those libraries that in February 2022 received books donated by so many Maltese. Also, to see first-hand the 2 school science laboratories (Chemistry and Physics) already built and running in the Don Bosco Secondary School in Didia and to be present for the foundation-stone laying ceremony of the 3rd laboratory (Biology) in the same school. It will be good to meet old colleagues and friends in familiar places like Dodoma, Didia and Mafinga but also to travel to new places in Tanzania and Kenya, to meet people I got to know through correspondence related to the books project of 2021. Time permitting, will also cross over into Uganda where some schools also received books from Malta.

Library 43. A few days ago, received more news from Consolata Fathers Seminary School in Mafinga, that they have started opening boxes, found the books useful and started stamping and shelving them all ready for use.

Library 43 down, ... 19 more to go. NB News that books have arrived has been received by more than 43 libraries. I am only posting the news when I get pictures and feedback. This time is is the Consolata Fathers Seminary School (Secondary and 6th Form) in Mafinga, Iringa Region. In early June Fr. Rector of the school sent the following message and pictures

We have received the books, thank you.
I will communicate with you later, as now we are engaged on form six final exams.
