Our Class 2 students created Sensory Bottles using recycled materials! β»οΈβ¨ The students transformed empty plastic bottles into colourful sensory tools by filling them with a variety of recycled and reusable items. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, environmental awareness, and sensory exploration. π₯°

π Class 4 Week Highlights π
Throughout last week, students were engaged in a variety of exciting learning experiences that combined creativity, exploration, and hands-on discovery. π
π« Making Caper Preserve
Students learned about traditional food preservation methods and had the opportunity to prepare their own caper preserve. This activity encouraged curiosity about local produce while developing practical life skills.
πΆ Exploring Pembroke on Foot
Our class enjoyed a walk around Pembroke, observing the open environment, specific landmarks, and community features. The outing ended with a trip to a local cafe for delicious treats.π
π¨ Creative Art Activities
The children expressed their imagination and creativity through a range of art projects, experimenting with different materials, freestyle and ideas.
π Hands-On Learning Tasks
From collaborative projects to practical classroom activities, students actively engaged in learning through exploration, problem-solving, and teamwork. These experiences helped strengthen their confidence and communication skills.

ππ This week, Class 1 and Class 3 participated in a wonderful e-Twinning session together with students from Pembroke Secondary School! π€π
During the session, students from Pembroke Secondary helped guide and support our young learners in an important mission, to remove items that harm marine life, especially plastic waste, from the sea environment. π’β»οΈ
A big well done to all students involved for their teamwork, enthusiasm, and commitment towards a cleaner and safer environment! π

This is Ben, and he is a Year 6 student at San Miguel School.
As he prepares to graduate and move on to the next chapter of his journey, we wanted to give him a memorable send-off to celebrate his time with us. π

πβοΈ Educational Outing to Marsaxlokk βοΈπ
Students from Classes 1, 2, 3, and 5 enjoyed a wonderful educational outing to Marsaxlokk this week! ππ
During the visit, the students took part in a fun and interactive fieldwork exercise, where they explored the village and gathered information by completing their fieldwork charts. The activity encouraged observation, teamwork, communication and independent learning skills. ππ
The children had the opportunity to learn more about the local environment, traditional fishing culture, boats, and important landmarks around Marsaxlokk while enjoying the beautiful seaside atmosphere. πβ΅
And of course, no outing would be complete without a sweet treat, so the students also enjoyed a delicious ice cream together! π¦π
It was a fantastic learning experience outside the classroom, and we are very proud of all the students for their enthusiasm and participation. ππ Well done to all π₯°

π Class 3 Learning Adventure: BIG and SMALL! π
Our amazing Class 3 learners explored the exciting concepts of BIG and SMALL through the story Little Red Hen is Cooking! ππ
The learners had so much fun identifying and comparing objects of different sizes while building their observation and sensory skills.β¨
Through storytelling, hands-on learning, and interactive displays the students developed a better understanding of size and comparison in a fun and meaningful way. π‘π
