Din il-ġimgħa waqt l-attività ta’ Ħbieb Beltin organizzajna quiz ta’ general knowledge mimli daħk, kompetizzjoni sabiħa u ħafna parteċipazzjoni! 😊

Permezz ta’ mistoqsijiet varji u logħob interattiv, il-parteċipanti kellhom l-opportunità li jżommu moħħhom attiv, jużaw il-memorja u jqattgħu ħin sabiħ flimkien f’atmosfera ferriħija u soċjali. ✨

🎲🧠 Quiz Time with Ħbieb Beltin! 🧠🎲
This week during our activity with Ħbieb Beltin, we organised a fun general knowledge quiz filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great participation! 😊

Through different questions and interactive games, participants had the opportunity to keep their minds active, exercise their memory, and enjoy quality time together in a warm and social atmosphere. ✨

Kellna sessjoni oħra tas-sensiela ġdida ta' Tisjir bil-Għaqal. Dan proġett li jsir f’Dar Ħiliet bl-għan li nitgħallmu kif insajjru ikel bnin b'baġit f'moħħna. Dan spazju fejn nitgħallmu flimkien u minn xulxin! Din id-darba iddiskutejna x'nixtiequ nitgħallmu, x'nixtiequ nsajjru u xi rwoli se nieħdu.🍽️

𝕋𝕚𝕤𝕛𝕚𝕣 𝕓𝕚𝕝-𝔾ħ𝕒𝕢𝕒𝕝🍳
We held another session of ‘Tisjir bil-Għaqal’ at Dar il-Ħiliet. This project focused on cooking easy, budget-friendly meals together in a welcoming space. During this session we discussed what we would like to learn, what we would like to cook and the roles we are going to take.🍽️

𝐍𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐝𝐮 𝐥-𝐈𝐦ħ𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐚 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐧

Ilbieraħ kellna attività sabiħa mat-tfal tad-Duttrina ta’ San Wistin, fejn flimkien ħloqna qlub tal-kartun imżejna bis-suf ikkulurit. ❤️🧶
Permezz ta’ din l-attività kreattiva, it-tfal kellhom l-opportunità jiżviluppaw il-motor skills tagħhom filwaqt li jesprimu l-kreattività u l-immaġinazzjoni tagħhom bit-tema “Nxerrdu l-Imħabba”.

Wara l-attività, it-tfal ingħataw ukoll spazju biex jilagħbu u jissoċjalizzaw flimkien, filwaqt li kienet opportunità sabiħa biex nibnu kuntatt u nitkellmu ma’ xi tfal individwalment f’atmosfera pożittiva u rilassata. ✨

𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫

Yesterday we held a lovely activity with the children from St Augustine Parish, where together we created cardboard hearts decorated with colourful wool. ❤️🧶

Through this creative activity, the children had the opportunity to strengthen their motor skills while expressing their creativity and imagination through the theme “Spread the Love.”

After the activity, the children also spent time playing and socialising together, while it also provided a lovely opportunity to connect and speak individually with some of the children in a positive and relaxed atmosphere. ✨

Ħaddiema minn Valletta and Floriana Community Services attendew għall-konferenza “Nirxoxtaw il-Komunitajiet tal-Port il-Kbir”, organizzata mill-Kunsill Lokali tal-Floriana fil-Grand Hotel Excelsior.

Il-konferenza ffukat fuq l-importanza li nkomplu nsaħħu u nagħtu ħajja ġdida lill-komunitajiet tal-Port il-Kbir, filwaqt li nindirizzaw sfidi marbuta mat-tnaqqis fil-popolazzjoni, it-telf ta’ tradizzjonijiet lokali, u l-bżonn ta’ aktar parteċipazzjoni komunitarja u volontarjat.

Permezz ta’ diskussjonijiet u studji ppreżentati matul il-ġurnata, ġiet enfasizzata l-importanza ta’ komunitajiet ħajjin, inklużivi u sostenibbli li jkomplu jsaħħu l-identità u l-wirt kulturali tal-lokalitajiet tagħna. 🤝⚓

Workers from Valletta and Floriana Community Services attended the conference “Nirxoxtaw il-Komunitajiet tal-Port il-Kbir”, organised by the Floriana Local Council at the Grand Hotel Excelsior.

The conference focused on the importance of strengthening and revitalising the Grand Harbour communities, while addressing challenges related to population decline, the loss of local traditions, and the need for greater community participation and volunteering.

Through discussions and presented studies, the importance of creating vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable communities that continue to preserve and strengthen the identity and cultural heritage of our localities was highlighted. 🤝⚓

Matul is-sessjoni tagħna mal-Active Ageing fil-Kunsill Lokali tal-Belt Valletta, bdejna bil-proġett Ktieb u Tazza Te, fejn il-parteċipanti kellhom l-opportunità jirritornaw u jissellfu kotba ġodda. 📖☕

Wara, organizzajna attività kreattiva ta’ bookmarks trasparenti bit-tema tal-imħabba u l-apprezzament ❤️, fejn kull persuna ħolqot bookmark personali u unika. Il-parteċipanti kollha ħadu gost ħafna, qasmu konversazzjonijiet sbieħ u gawdew atmosfera pożittiva u rilassanti flimkien. ✨

📚☕ 𝗞𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗯 𝘂 𝗧𝗮𝘇𝘇𝗮 𝗧𝗲 – 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 ❤️
During our Active Ageing session held at Valletta Local Council, we started with our Ktieb u Tazza Te project, where participants had the opportunity to return and borrow books while enjoying time together over tea and conversation. 📖☕

We then carried out a creative transparent bookmark activity centred around the theme of love and appreciation ❤️, where each participant created their own unique bookmark. Everyone enjoyed the activity, sharing conversations, creativity, and positive moments together in a relaxed atmosphere. ✨

𝗛𝗯𝗶𝗲𝗯 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻 – 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 📱✨

Waqt is-sessjoni ta’ Ħbieb Beltin, b’kollaborazzjoni mal-Parroċċa ta’ Santu Wistin il-Belt Valletta, kellna taħdita interessanti minn ConnectedCare dwar servizzi ta’ telecare u mobile care solutions għall-adulti u l-anzjani.

Il-parteċipanti kellhom l-opportunità jitgħallmu aktar dwar apparat u servizzi li jistgħu jgħinu biex persuni jgħixu b’mod aktar indipendenti filwaqt li joffru aktar serħan il-moħħ kemm għalihom kif ukoll għall-familji tagħhom.

During our Ħbieb Beltin session, in collaboration with Saint Augustine Parish Valletta, the group attended an informative talk by ConnectedCare about telecare services and mobile care solutions for adults and older persons.

Participants had the opportunity to learn more about devices and services that support independent living while offering greater peace of mind both for individuals and their families.

B’kollaborazzjoni ma’ Għeruq il-Komunità, erba’ studenti minn Kulleġġ San Ġorġ Preca, Skola Primarja Sant’Iermu, il-Belt Valletta ħadu sehem f’reġistrazzjoni ta’ kanzunetta flimkien ma’ Valletta and Floriana Community Service.

L-istudenti attendew diversi rehearsals taħt il-gwida tal-għalliema tal-mużika tagħhom u wrew impenn, entużjażmu u dedikazzjoni matul din l-esperjenza sabiħa komunitarja. 🎤❤️

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗿 🎶✨
In collaboration with Għeruq il-Komunità, four students from San Ġorġ Preca College, St Elmo Primary School, Valletta participated in a song recording together with Valletta and Floriana Community Service.

The students attended several rehearsals under the guidance of their music teacher and showed commitment, enthusiasm, and dedication throughout this beautiful community experience. 🎤❤️
