🌳On March 21, 2024 we celebrated World Forestry Day.🌳

A team of climate experts led by Mr Pierre Boileau, Head of Global Environment Outlook at United Nations Environment and Professor Sosten Chiotha, Board Chair of National Herbarium and Botanic Gardens visited Lilongwe botanic gardens and planted trees.

🌳Embracing the tree planting season! On February 16, 2024, Mr.Sitima a dedicated representative from the National Herbarium and Botanic Gardens_Lilongwe and the amazing team at Waste Management Advisors led a fantastic tree planting initiative alongside students from ten different schools. Together they managed to plant 720 seedlings that were donated by National Herbarium and Botanic Gardens.

A special thanks to all the students who took part in this activity for their eagerness to make a positive impact on our environment. Let's continue to plant trees for a healthier, happier and greener Malawi!!🌍🌿
