Experience has taught me to listen to the words of prophets with a grain of salt. Reality does not always come out as the prophets have said. Perhaps, some have faith in prophets and things work for them. For me, in my silent prayer according to my own little faith as small as a mustard seed, I cling to God. For prophets are also human like me. They are not immune to sin and may fail. But God does not disappoint. If his answer is yes to my prayer, I am thankful. If his answer is no to my prayer, I am sure he has a good reason. If a prophet speaks as if in answer to my prayer, I take note of his word whether negative or positive. The word of a prophet as good as its fulfillment. The word of a prophet is validated when it gets fulfilled. While it is now, before the time of fulfilment, I believe for me, should be in prayer with God; in studying his written word and obedience of his written word.
