Sofia and I started 2018 in South Africa and from there on we visited Dubai, Germany, Chech Republic, Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Mexico in order to complete the trip around the world.
But the trips did not end. July USA, August Croatia and Bosnia, September Spain, October again to Chile and December Cuba.
I have tried to document each new location with the traditional Jump of Joy.
With my travelling I discovered a world that is abundant of beauty, diversity and opportunities. This activated within me a strong sense of gratitude and a spirit of abundance.
It is likely that I would have never experienced these beautiful and liberating emotions if I wouldn't have had 1. the inspiration from my wife to explore the world and 2. the guts to let go my obsession with work.
Reflecting now about it , I have learned in 2018 that a too strong attachment to material things, money, or power can easily make abundance seem scarce and that therefore scarcity might be one of the major sources of conflict within and between families, organizations, communities and countries.
I hope that me and my wife will not lose our abundant mindset and leverage all the new found inspirations and opportunities the world provides in order to grow, spread love and build new bridges.
