Alhamdulillah, UiTM Sarawak Branch was honoured to host the Sarawak State STEM Gamification Competition, held on 27 October 2026 at Dewan Jubli, UiTM Sarawak Branch.
Programmes like this are more than just a platform for students to test their knowledge and skills. They also provide an opportunity for our young generation to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in a more engaging, interactive and enjoyable way.
I believe that every child has unique potential. Through game-based learning and challenges, we can nurture curiosity, encourage creative thinking and build their confidence to explore new ideas. Who knows, this very competition may inspire the scientists, engineers, innovators and future leaders who will contribute to the development of Sarawak and our nation.
On this occasion, on behalf of UiTM Sarawak Branch, I would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and sincere thanks to Profesor Emeritus Datuk Dr. Khairuddin Abdul Hamid representing YB Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development Sarawak, for graciously attending and officiating the Closing Ceremony of the Sarawak State STEM Gamification Competition. His presence and support are greatly appreciated in strengthening STEM education and fostering a culture of innovation among the younger generation in Sarawak.
Congratulations to all participants, especially those who emerged as winners. To those who did not win this time, do not be discouraged. The experience gained, the courage to participate and the determination to keep learning are also meaningful achievements in their own right.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the organisers, accompanying teachers, judges and everyone who contributed to the success of this programme. My gratitude also goes to parents and teachers who continue to play an important role in nurturing and supporting the potential of our young people.
May initiatives like this continue to strengthen young people's interest in STEM and open up more opportunities for them to pursue a brighter future, while nurturing a knowledgeable, creative and competitive generation for the progress of Sarawak and Malaysia.
Inspiring curiosity today, building tomorrow's innovators!
