I stand for my fraternity : Heal the Contract System of Our Malaysian Healthcare Workers

We urge that the Government of Malaysia expedite the following:

1. Provide clear postgraduate pathways to specialisation for contract healthcare workers
2. Publish a detailed and transparent ranking system for appointment to permanent positions
3. Provide equal and fair treatment for contract and permanent staff
4. Assure job security for all contract healthcare workers
5. Provide health coverage and offs just the same as our permanent counterparts.

We need our critical healthcare workers. Heed our call. Save our public healthcare system.

Dear kawan-kawan, adakah korang tahu berapa anggaran harga rawatan di hospital swasta untuk Covid-19?

Bergantung kepada tahap kategori mana dan keseriusan keadaan pesakit tersebut, anggaran kos terkini boleh mencecah sehingga RM12,000 SEHARI di ward.

Kalau masuk ICU , ranging around RM80,000 -RM150,000.

Walaupun Malaysia negara yang mempunyai polisi kesihatan yang tidak membebankan rakyat tetapi masih ada kondisi yang memungkinkan kita untuk menerima rawatan di fasiliti hospital swasta.

So, saya nak seru semua kawan-kawan to be financially prepared dengan memastikan pelan takaful perubatan korang ada cover COVID-19 related admissions & cover side effects/complications of vaccine COVID19.

So proud of my mom in law!

She’s in her 70s now, has
- diabetes mellitus,
- hypertension,
- hyperlipidemia,
- glaucoma
- chronic gastritis
but stood stern on wanting to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

Since we couldnt be sure when she would get her date in PICK, she said yes on the spot when we counselled her for Astra Zeneca and went out to get her vaccine shot at WTC today.

She also received this forwarded many times voicemail. And showed it to us. Have a listen guys. I attached it too.

Helped prepare her list of meds & medical history incase my colleague in WTC would need it.

Guys, if my mom in law can do it, lets help the other elders to get those shots.

She’s gonna flex her vaccine card in the surau group heheh
