Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur (SCEKL) merupakan edisi Asia Tenggara bagi acara inovasi bandar terbesar dunia, Smart City Expo World Congress oleh Fira Barcelona.

Dengan tema “AI Cities: Shaping Our Digital Future”, acara ini menjadi penanda bersejarah sebagai edisi pertama di rantau Asia Tenggara. Ia menghimpunkan pemimpin global, inovator teknologi, dan penggerak bandar untuk membincangkan bagaimana teknologi digital dan kecerdasan buatan mengubah cara kita hidup, bekerja, dan berhubung di bandar.

Konsep Smart City sangat rapat dengan Matlamat Pembangunan Lestari (SDG), terutamanya:

Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur (SCEKL) is the Southeast Asian edition of the world’s leading urban innovation event, the Smart City Expo World Congress by Fira Barcelona.

Under the theme “AI Cities: Shaping Our Digital Future”, this milestone marks the first-ever edition in Southeast Asia. The event will bring together global thought leaders, tech innovators, and urban changemakers to explore how digital technologies and AI are transforming the way we live, work, and connect in cities.

Matlamat Pembangunan Lestari (Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs) adalah 17 matlamat global yang diterima pakai oleh Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) pada tahun 2015.
Ia merupakan seruan bersama untuk menghapuskan kemiskinan, melindungi bumi, serta memastikan keamanan dan kesejahteraan untuk semua menjelang tahun 2030.

SDG berasaskan 3 tonggak utama:
✅ Manusia (People) – hapuskan kemiskinan & kelaparan, tingkatkan kesihatan, pendidikan berkualiti & kesaksamaan gender.
✅ Alam Sekitar (Planet) – lindungi sumber semula jadi, tenaga bersih, penggunaan lestari & tindakan terhadap perubahan iklim.
✅ Kesejahteraan & Keamanan (Prosperity & Peace) – bandar lestari, pekerjaan bermaruah, inovasi, kurangkan ketidaksamaan & jalin kerjasama.
