On 16th May 2025, DLIS hosted an inspiring career talk with Madam Hawa binti Darus, a librarian from IIUM! 📚✨ She shared her journey from her early days in librarianship to her current role, giving us a glimpse into the many departments and opportunities within the field. 🌟 Madam Hawa inspired us with real-life stories, practical advice, and words of encouragement to stay curious, adaptable, and passionate in our careers. 💬💼 Her session reminded us that every experience helps shape a meaningful path in librarianship. 💖

On 7th May 2025, LISSA organized an inspiring journey to the Federal Court Library and the Ministry of Education Library! 💼📚 We explored how government libraries play vital roles beyond books, from supporting judges with legal research ⚖️ to empowering education and policy development 🎓. Seeing how librarians manage knowledge, justice, and learning truly opened our eyes to the power of our profession. 💡✨ This visit reminded us that librarians do not just organize information but help shape the nation’s future. 🇲🇾
