With great sadness I inform that Madam Ponnamal Govindaraju has passed away today. Our deepest condolences. Below are the details of the funeral.

She has been a great friend, a great inspiration, she always told me not to feel dejected whenever I feel down. Whether I was going through a crisis in my personal life or my professional life.

She also was a great inspiration to me to be active in Malaysian Indian Congress. She was the wife late Uncle David Muniandy who was a great supporter of Tun Samyvelu.

I will definitely will miss you auntie. Rest well and join the gang. Amma, Appa and Uncle will be waiting for you. Till I meet you again auntie.

Stay strong Kavitha, Amutha Muniandy, Jeyasree Jeyasree , Komala, Gayatri, Geetha and Thasan.

I am standing for MIC CWC. And I really need some help in promoting myself, as I am a greenhorn in politics. You might not be in MIC but I am sure you might have friends and family who might be in the party. Really appreciate if you can forward this message. And ask them to choose me. I would definitely do the right thing for the community. 🙏

Tahniah UKM!

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) telah melonjak ke kedudukan ke-101 dalam penarafan Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2024 berbanding kedudukan ke-149 tahun lepas dengan kenaikan 48 tangga dan merupakan kedudukan terbaik semenjak 2016.

Post WW2 , Japanese factories hired young adults in their companies where they work in the morning and have classes in the evening. Solving problems of shortage of labour and upskilling them at the same time.

I used to work in my parents restaurant from 5 years old. And as years moved on I realised that I worked harder on Labour Day as most of people were on leave. Made me wonder why should I work harder on the day we were suppose to be on leave.

Nevertheless I never dared to bring to my supervisor’s@my father attention. I just mumbled away.

ps: grievance is not in practice in the 70’s , 80’s , 90’s or ever in my parent’s business 🤣
