Whose childhood got thrown away? I sincerely hope he never discovers for the rest of his life that the comic books under the bed are gone. (These are British pocket-sized war comics that were hugely popular in the 1960s–80s, each usually 64 pages long.)

I rescued these treasured memories from a pile of waste paper. They are the old bus tickets kept from past journeys.

Foreign-language books have always been something of a "hard sell" in the shop, rarely do customers come for them. But this time, a buyer took away both the Russian and French volumes in one go. Honestly, these hardcovers aren’t just for reading; even just sitting on the shelf, they look beautiful.

I just hauled hundreds of English novels, all in near-mint condition, some even brand-new and still sealed. These shouldn’t be called recyclables; they’re merchandise, fine merchandise.

Over the weekend, I collected two large boxes of music CD albums. Apparently, they still have around one to two thousand more. According to what was shared, the owner used to work at a radio station and is now planning to clear out the storeroom to make space for their children’s books.

Today we came to Desa ParkCity to handle a small household case, helping a foreign family clear out some usable second-hand items before their move.

These pre-loved books were carefully selected from recycling collections, then cleaned, repaired, and given a new lease on life. The 22 books shown in the photo have just been purchased by a reader and are about to be shipped out, ready to begin a new chapter on their new owner's bookshelf.
