Penang Tourist Association was established on 26th November 1972.
It always acted as an umbrella body for the practitioners of tourism industry in Penang and in late 80’s, it's name was changed to Penang Tourist Centre in 1992. Penang Tourist Centre Berhad today was managed by a team of directors under the chairmanship of Dato’ Syed Mohamad Aidid Bin Syed Murtaza.

MALAYSIA TRAVEL PRIVILEGE CARD
Penang Tourist Centre and has partnered with Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Penang and has introduced the 1st travel discount card which offers great savings for your holiday in Malaysia. You can enjoy unlimited visits with up to 40% discounts on entrance fees, food, accommodations and many more.
Malaysia Travel Privilege Cards covers up the cost of your family (maximum of two adults and two children for each time of usage) and is valid for one year.
Priced at RM30 and no limit to the number of times you can use this card at the outlet and avail your discounts.
