Some pics from our recent Community Engagement with the residents of Subang Jaya at ! 👋

From this engagement alone, initial data review indicates the community's request for an improved education system and modules in schools such as mental health, sexual and reproductive awareness, how to deal with bullying, abuse and harrasment while also having more mental health support and employment upskilling programmes for adults.

The residents of Subang Jaya are also concerned with the rising rate of burglary and plead for better security measures within the neighbourhoods.

Footnote: It was fascinating to learn how passionate the Gen-Z youth are in preserving and promoting the local culture and traditions of our beloved Malaysia. Long may it continue.🇲🇾

During Projek SuaraKu's community engagement session today, initial data highlights the requests for a motorcyle bridge for the residents to save money on transporting their children to school as bus fares rise.📈

Bumblebee Community organises education programmes for kids using interactive educational play methods to support childrens development.
Amazing effort for the future of our generation.💛

Did you know?
Deepavali translated means "a row of lights" and symbolises victory of light over darkness and good over evil.
A famous story of its origin is when Lord Rama, with the help of Lord Hanuman and his army of vanaras (monkey warriors), defeated the demon king Ravana who had kidnapped Lord Rama's wife, Sita.
In celebration of the victory, the people lit up diyas (oil lamps) to symbolise triumph of light over darkness.✨️
