We encourage every candidate to register at the office or call in to confirm their names, ensuring a smooth process for all.

Travel is set for tomorrow, June 13, 2025, at PM, departing from the David Thomas Service Station.

The ||Kharas Governor's Office has arranged transport for the shortlisted candidates of the National Youth Service 16th Intake. Candidates are encouraged to register their names, as the bus will depart on Thursday morning from Keetmanshoop to the Henties Bay Training Center.

Departure is at 4:00 AM from Dawid Thomas Services Station.

The Governor celebrates this achievement and reminds candidates that a true winner acknowledges their failures, learns from their mistakes, and perseveres toward their goals. Although fighting for your dreams may be challenging, it is profoundly rewarding. The value of your journey lies not just in what you achieve but in who you become through the process.

The Office of the Governor cordially invites the residents of Keetmanshoop and Grünau to participate in an Environmental Impact Assessment consultation meeting. This significant event is scheduled as follows:

- On June 3, 2025, at Moth Hall, West Westdene, Keetmanshoop
- On June 4, 2025, at Grünau Country Hotel, Grünau

The Governor of the ||Kharas region, Hon. Aletha Frederick, held a send-off session for the NDF recruits this morning. She congratulated them on this new chapter in their lives and encouraged them to embrace the challenges ahead. She emphasized the importance of being proactive and recognizing learning opportunities in any obstacles they may encounter. Hon. Frederick reminded the recruits to acknowledge their achievements, no matter how small, and to understand that their skills and potential are valuable to both the region and the defense force. She expressed her confidence that they are more than capable and will return as proud members of the Namibian Defense Force of the Republic of Namibia.
