The Office of the Mayor and Mariental Municipality hereby informs all residents that the scheduled public meetings have been postponed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and cooperation. New dates will be communicated in due course.

As we head into the long weekend, I encourage everyone to travel safely and responsibly. Your life and the lives of your loved ones are precious, please make safety your top priority.

We’ve been blessed with some late winter rain, but it also means our roads may be wet and hazardous. Drive with caution, remain patient, and avoid rushing. Arriving safely is what matters most.

Before setting off, take a moment to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and that you are well-rested for the journey ahead.
