HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT TINUBU'S NODE FOR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT; A WELCOMED DEVELOPMENT IN THE AFFAIRS OF THE NATION TODAY.

The 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended obviously seems to have practically relegated community developmental issues and discussions to the third tier of government, the local government system. The Local Government system in Nigeria being under the watchdog of the State Governments has very little or no financial muscle to attend to most basic needs of these Communities, therefore, leaving the rural dwellers vulnerable over the years.

No doubts, the wailings and anguish of rural dwellers in Nigeria might have been heard by God almighty with the recent steps of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, (GCFR)
The Commander in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic Of Nigeria who have graciously appointed Senior Special Assistants on Community Engagement for five out the the six Geo-Political Zones of Nigeria. The first of its kind in the affairs of Nigeria.

1. Bar. Chioma Nweze SSA (Community Engagement-SE)
2. Mr. Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai SSA ( Community Engagement-NW)
3. Abiodun Essiet SSA (Community Engagement-NC)
4. Moremi Ojudu SSA (Community Engagement-SW)
5. Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba SSA ( Community Engagement-NE)
The South South slot might still be under contention among the political gladiators, i guess.

Interestingly, In South East, this is one appointment by His Excellency that has received so much applause and encomium by the IGBO populace particularly the South East dwellers judging by the content of the appointee from the zone.
Bar. Chioma Nweze CEHF, the immediate past Ebonyi State Commissioner for trade and Investment to Former Ebonyi State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, the current Minister of Works, Federal Republic of Nigeria. She was a super Commissioner and one of the brains behind the five star performance of the former Governor. BCN as she is fondly called by admirers is a trailblazer, an achiever per excellence and is widely cheered and acknowledged as a youth builder.

Indeed, enough cannot be said about the capacity and content of this AMAZON of good leadership, BCN because she knows her onions in service delivery to humanity.

With this noble step of Mr. President, there's no gain saying that the rural dwellers across the various Communities in the Country today are highly hopeful as they awaits the programmes of actions of the new appointees that would engage them meaningfully. Above all, promote Sustainable Community based development in the country.
