Here are some practical tips and steps to help you grow your customer base and increase your brand awareness.

1. Get to know your customers
Understand your customer's needs and develop products and services that meet those needs. You can gain insight into your customers by personalising your services and encouraging them to provide you with feedback. Adopt a Feedback mechanism that works for you and like I said yesterday utilize the relationships you have with your customers very well.

2. Offer great customer service
Ensure your customer service is exceptional and go the extra mile when you can. Your customers will not only remember great services you render and offer but they will also be more likely to refer other people to you. Stand out in your Customer Service Relation. Cut attention by all means and keep to it. Maintain a healthy Customer Service Culture. Be polite and Empathic. Respect your Customers wishes and privacy. Be highly professional.

3. Nurture existing customers and look for new opportunities.
Have strategies in place to nurture existing customers, such as staying in contact with them via an e-newsletter or letting them know about promotional events ahead of time.

At the same time, look for opportunities to get more work and build your customer base. Make sure you find the right balance between nurturing customers and finding new ones.

6. Host events
Hosting your own event can be a great way to get to know your customers and build relationships. Invite some of your best existing customers and encourage them to bring their friends.

7. Give back to your community
Building brand awareness in your local community is a great way to attract new business. Consider sponsorship or participating in a community event to raise your business profile just like we have being doing for a couple of weeks now. The Chief Executive Officer and Lead Faculty of Ebonyi Business School, Dr. Nweli Ifeanyichukwu Hilary has called on youths in Ebonyi state and Nigeria at large to embrace Entrepreneurship Development to and Business Innovation to improve the Socio-economic challenges facing the Country.

Dr. Nweli who spoke while unveiling the business school, Ebonyi Business the first of its kind in Ebonyi State on Friday the 30th day of April, 2021 at school facility located at Agon place 78 Abakaliki-Enugu Road in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital.

He said he was motivated to established the school to help youths identify Business Opportunities and equip them with requisite Knowledge, needed skills as well as principle and fundamental way of running a successful business.

He noted that the school, Ebonyi Business School is a private owned, registered and operated non Conventional school that is aimed at improving the quality of Business Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Business Modelling, Business Coaching and Mentorship to help birth new businesses and assist existing ones access to Funding, Investment opportunities and all required Financial skills and knowledge to thrive in Business. On his part, the State Commissioner for Business Development Dr. Stephen Odoh called on youths to rise to their responsibilities by embracing private initiatives, exhibit required knowledge and mindset to drive home governance and leadership.

He stressed that youths should zero their minds in political activities and engage themselves meaningfully to improve their financial capacities, stressing the need for them to project good things instead of engaging into destructive criticism.

He pledged that his Ministry through the State Government would partner with the school and advised people to strive to identify opportunities and work on it towards solving societal problems while describing the establishment of the as a welcome development and the first of its kind in the State.

However, the former Commissioner for information and state Orientation Dr Chike Emmanuel Onwe maintained that the dwindling nature of Nigeria economy calls for creativity and innovation of an individuals and admonished people to cultivate the habit of making an investment than waiting for white cola job in their own interest.

He described the Chief Executive Officer of the School Dr. Nweli Ifeanyichukwu Hilary as a great achiever and a distinguished personality who has distinguished himself among his contemporaries, advising him not to be distracted but continue to develop his potential and call on all and sundry to toll the part of innovation, pointing out that nobody would ever celebrate with mediocrities in the society.

Adding his voice, a business mogul and a renowned Consultant in Accounting and Financial Management, Henry Nworie advised the CEO to widen his knowledge and the scope of the school to accommodate Estate Management, Agriculture and agro value chain and mining to diversify National economy.

Earlier, pastor Kessy Anyigor the Founder and State Pastor of Builders Family Church appreciated Dr. Nweli for establishing the business School in the state and prayed God to continue to bless him. He noted that the CEO is blessed with enormous gift and Grace and has always shown unequalled determination and zeal to personal development and that he is not surprised to what he has being able to do. He said that the school will thrive, grow from the current location to it's permanent site.

Others who came including the Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Vocational College and the Director General Vocational College Lady. Princess Dr. Adaeze P Nwaji noted that Dr. Nweli Ifeanyichukwu Hilary is an uncommon achiever and a gift to humanity and asked him to keep the good works.

In his on remarks, the National President of IRUFADO Mr. Paul. O. Njoku thanked the CEO and asked him not to relent in State and National Development.

The CEO and Lead Faculty of Ebonyi Business School in his closing remarks thanked all that graced the occasion and promised to remain steadfast in the vision and continue to help bridge the gap in Business Development, Entrepreneurship and creating jobs the teaming Youths of this great Country. He said that the school will maintain its Standard and will continue to seek collaboration in advancing the course of Humanity.
