The apparatus which is used consists of a water pipe with a chamber for smoke, a bowl, a pipe and a hose. When in use, charcoal is burned in the pipe which heats a specially-prepared to***co mixture and creates the smoke that is filtered through water. Interestingly, it is thought that the original sh**ha used a water pipe carved from a coconut shell and milk to filter o***m or hashish.

THE PERILS OF SECONDHAND SMOKER
Even if you’re not smoking sh**ha, just sitting with your friends at the same table exposes you to dangerous second-hand smoke.

Breathing in this less-than-desirable smoke means that you face an increased risk of health conditions like:
Inflammation of the nose or sinuses
Asthma
Coughing and sore throat
Cancer
Heart disease

So if you don’t smoke sh**ha, it may be better if you didn’t hang around a sh**ha lounge. And if you do smoke sh**ha, it may be time to quit.

To love someone under any circumstance is a true test of unconditional loving, and although it may seem simple, it is probably one of the toughest attributes to possess. This kind of love requires an unconditional love of yourself first, so you can have the strength of heart and mind to give the same to another human being.

The pictures above speaks of a young lady that met her childhood friend who went mentally deranged after being addicted to drugs for many years and instead of running away from him, she got closer to him, bought him breakfast, spoke to him then decided to make him admitted in the psychiatric hospital. She kept checking up on him until he got well and discharged.

If only we all can have a caring heart as this, the world would have been a better place than it is today.

Life is beautiful when you appreciate others especially those who volunteer to help a social course. It is important to find the right words to thank volunteers who have left their busy schedules to give you a hand.

Volunteering takes one’s time and energy and in most cases one is not paid. Therefore it is good to choose the right word to appreciate this special people for their service.

May the good Lord continue to bless and strengthen you in all your endeavors. JoshWhale thank you specially 💙💙💙

They do not volunteer for the pursuit of a monetary prize or recognition. They volunteer because the optimists inside them, perhaps the idealist, spies a glimmer of hope. They understand that you are helping the vulnerable. They see that there time is worth it. They believe that they are capable of inciting change and making progress. In some way, large or small, they are capable of doing good.

Social responsibility is often a driving force when it comes to volunteerism. Empathy and awareness simply come along with the territory. They are ministers of change and hope

Meet our newly inaugurated volunteers and kindly say a word of prayer for the success of the tasks ahead of them, not for monetary value or worldly recognition but for agape love and posterity.

Churches must be vocal in their desire to love on those who have been broken by substance abuse. Stigmas, judging and condemnation need to go out the window. Addicts need to be embraced as people who are made in the image of God. Their loved ones need to be taken in with the same care and compassion you would give someone who has lost their home, because loving an addict can make for a very isolated, discouraging life.

Here is Mr Bammy delivering lectures on the consequences of drug abuse with the members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Bright Star Parish during one of their Sunday service. The foundation thank you for your leadership role and selfless service sir, God bless...🙏

While we all know that listening to music can make any chore seem more pleasant, one recent study by in Israeli researcher that published in Psychology of Music, seems to prove that it can also influence our moral compass and entice us to participate in negative behavior.

Years past in Nigeria, we've had great artists that used their talents to speak about the ills of the society and the way forward from it but today most artist sings for the money and fame. We have youths that got immersed into smoking, drinking and cultism from the kind of music their souls got entangled. Therefore it has become paramount that our music industry must wake up the call for change in their musical messages just as this shared video.

The burden of substance abuse is still high in our study population and the prevalence was significantly higher among students who had not received any formal teachings on the subject. It therefore becomes imperative to incorporate teachings on substance abuse into the national school curriculum for secondary school students and beyond.

JoshWhale and team visited Victorious secondary school at the early stage of our mission some years back. The students were counseled on the need to keep away from substance abuse. Afterwards, the truth about drugs pamphlets was shared to all students and staffs in attendance.

Keeping children from smoking starts with parents and their behavior. Some parents say they disapprove of kid smoking but continue to smoke themselves. If parents don’t want their children to start smoking, it is important for them to also stop their own smoking habit.

I want to believe these children were filmed by someone way older than them. Seeing the manner at which that little girl puffed the smoke breaks my heart and that's to tell the extend at which she's gotten deep in this menace through the influence of bad parenting. Evidently, it won't be out of place to say drug abuse cut across all ages abd
