"A doctor entered the hospital in a
hurry after being called in for an
urgent surgery. He answered the
call asap, changed his clothes and
went directly to the surgery block.
He found the boy's father going
and coming in the hall waiting for
the doctor.
On seeing him, the dad yelled:
"Why did you take all the time to
come? Don't you know that my
son's life is in danger? Don't you
have the sense of responsibility?"
The doctor smiled and said:
"I am sorry, I wasn't in the
hospital and I came the fastest I
could after receiving the call and
now, I wish you'd calm down so
that I can do my work"
"Calm down?! What if your son
was in this room right now,
would you calm down? If your
own son dies now what will you
do??" said the father angrily.
The doctor smiled again and
replied:
"I will say what Job said in the
Holy Book "From dust we came
and to dust we return, blessed be
the name of God". Doctors cannot
prolong lives. Go and intercede for
your son, we will do our best by
God's grace"
"Giving advices when we're not
concerned is so easy" murmured
the father.
The surgery took some hours
after which the doctor went out
happy, "Thank goodness!, your
son is saved!"
And without waiting for the
father's reply he carried on his
way running.
"If you have any question, ask the
nurse!!"
"Why is he so arrogant? He
couldn't wait some minutes so
that I ask about my son's state"
commented the father when
seeing the nurse minutes after
the doctor left.
The nurse answered, tears
coming down her face:
"His son died yesterday in a road
accident, he was in the burial
when we called him for your
son's surgery. And now that he
saved your son's life, he left
running to finish his son's burial."
Never judge anyone.
Be slow at judging people
because you never know how
their life is & what they're going
through!!!"

Boko Haram: A blessing or a lesson?
I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the Tower and see what the Lord shall say to me when I am reproved (Hab 2:1)
I write out of bitterness, anger and anguish. I grieve over the state of this country and mourn over our failing generation to safeguard the future of this nation. Almost a year and a half, a sect not more than a handful of people dislodges terror and we fold our arms and do nothing. We sit in a corner and lambast the government we elected while we cringe in fear as these terrorists carry out their attacks incessantly. I am going to address every single soul and I’m not going to exclude anybody because we are all guilty of everything that is going on in this nation, Nigeria. We have all come to a conclusion and an understanding that our government has failed us, why then don’t we do something about it?
Muslims, I understand to a level what Islam entails and I’m happy to hear that majority are not in support of these extremists however, I do believe you can go a step further by appealing to top political patrons of Islam to come out and openly condemn these attacks, impart people with knowledge and fish out these terrorists in mosques, markets, schools, streets, etc.
Christians, I empathize with you and appeal to you to please be patient. I also put it to you that you allowed this to happen. One of the foundations Jesus laid was unity; if two or three shall agree concerning a thing……. You’ve all forgotten that unity is the greatest power especially through intercession. If you take up arms and fight back, you’ve lost your salt; for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal ……….. How many of you take time to pray for Nigeria for at least 5minutes every day? Until Christians arise to their primary responsibility of intercession in one accord, you will continue to be victims of these attacks. You are asleep and can be likened to Jonah. Is it until you are swallowed by the whale of grief before you wake up? The world waits in earnest expectation for the manifestation of the sons of God. Are you manifesting or hibernating? Woe to them that are at ease in Zion.
To my fellow Nigerian citizens, the motto of this great nation is unity and faith, peace and progress. Let us unite despite our religious differences, our nation is on the brink of falling apart, let us arise in one accord to defend ourselves against the book haram sect. We are Nigerians, we make up Nigeria, and therefore we are Nigeria. Let us learn a lesson from this and be the proverbial broom tied by one band and not separate sticks. We can police ourselves (not by taking laws into our hands but by being at alert) forget what Goodluck Jonathan can do for you, if he is not laying a good example, let us teach him how it is done. Harness knowledge, report every suspicious activity take a stand against every form of vice because our unity is our weapon, it gives us faith in God and ourselves, this brings about peace and finally progress. If you believe in this cause, repost this, email it, put it on every social network or website so that every Nigerian within and outside the country can know that UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.

though it might look like you're behind and your mates are progressing to the next level, stay with God. There's always a place at the top;
1.) even the cheetahs and the antelopes still had to wait for the snail before the door of the ark was shut.
2.) Elijah still outran the chariot of Ahab. do not be dismayed, you will overtake in Jesus' name.
N.B: each man has his own pace, walk in yours.
