Ogun Central 2027: 'I Am Not Stepping Down For Financial Gain, Says Dr. Soyoola
Dr. Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola, has refuted the claims that his withdrawal from the Ogun Central Senatorial District race linked to financial compensation.
Dr. Soyoola made the denied the allegation while speaking with newsmen in his Ward 09, Abeokuta North Local Government on Monday during the senatorial primary election in support of Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu.
He stated clearly that he is not stepping down because of compensation, describing the claims as false and misleading.
“My commitment to the APC, to Ogun Central, and to the process of building a united party is not for sale and cannot be reduced to financial negotiation.
“Any insinuation that my position is tied to compensation is baseless and should be disregarded,” he declared.

Dr. Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola, Ogun Central Senatorial Aspirant, wish to formally state his acceptance of the consensus arrangement reached by our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of our amiable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the state executives of the party.
After wide consultations with stakeholders, elders, leaders, and the grassroots across Ogun Central, it has been resolved that Senator Salisu Afolabi Shuaib will fly the flag of our party as the consensus candidate for the Senate.

Ahead of the 2027 APC primary elections in Ogun State, it's succinct to put it that Dr. Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola is the only senatorial aspirant with maximum grassroots acceptability.
Since the inception of this journey, he has touched every nooks and crannies of Ogun Central, meeting and engaging critical stakeholders of the party.
Dr. Olusola, a medical expert has refused to engage party members from distance. He had visited every wards to listen to people's need and all complaints were well noted for swift actions as soon as he assume office.
