Let’s be honest for a moment.

We tell our children to read hard.
We tell them to pass exams.
We tell them to choose good careers.

But let me ask you a deeper question…

Are we preparing them for the world they are about to enter?

This morning, I woke up with a deep question on my mind… you see eeh the SHE FIX 🔧IT 2.0 event by NNPC RETAIL I attended last week made me have sleepless night and so I put on my thinking cap when I woke up

The question is 👉What is truly best for African students in the energy space?

And the answer came clearly:

It’s not just about learning.

It’s about sustainability.
It’s about relevance.
It’s about what actually works for our environment, our communities, and our future.

Because let’s be honest…

What’s the point of teaching energy concepts that don’t translate into real-life solutions for our children?
What’s the point of knowledge that cannot be applied in the very communities these students live in?

Africa is unique.
Our challenges are unique.
And so, our approach to energy education must also be intentionally African, practical, and solution-driven.

At Ologed initiative , we are asking bigger questions:

Can students solve energy problems, not just define them?
Can they 🧌build, 🎣innovate, and 🏵adapt using what they learn?
Can energy education prepare them for the realities of energy poverty, climate change, and sustainability in Africa?

That is why this school term…

🔥 We are restructuring. And we are restructuring intentionally.

We are moving:

➡️ From memorization to innovation
➡️ From generic content to context-based learning
