☆ANOTHER CHANCE☆
Meryl's POV
I tried sneaking inside my room when I arrived back at Ludovic Hans's Manson, but I got caught by Julia.
"Where have you been?" She demanded icily and I rolled my eyes at her, who does she think she is to question me.
"Stay out of my business", I warned her threateningly and made an attempt to enter my room but she held me back.
"Did you spend the night with tyrson again?" She asked eagerly.
"What do you mean?" I inquired confusedly and her mouth curved into a weary but suspicious smile.
"You think I don't know about your relationship with tyrson, and how would you feel if I let it out to the public, it might be the end of your career..." she disclosed and I smiled.
She was only trying to pull words out of my mouth,"oh really I'm scared" I said pretending to be scared.
"Fool that's what you are, stop trying to force words out of my mouth, it's annoying" I snarled and entered my room.
I threw myself on the bed immediately I got into the room, why did I have to drink so much and I shouldn't have let my guard down.
I ran my fingers through my hair as I recalled asking him to do it with me and also remember him confessing his love for me.
Am I also in love with him or what! Gosh I'm so confused right now.
"Meryl!" Tyrson barged into my room while breathing heavily,"Tyrson! What..are you doing here?"
"It doesn't matter, I came here to tell you that all what happened means a lot to me and I don't regret any single of it" he stated sincerely.
"I love you Meryl, have never stopped loving you, I don't care what you think of me but please give me the chance to prove to you that I'm worthy of you" he muttered out loud enough for me to hear.
And his eyes carried a lot of emotion in it, that my heart melted to his confessed and I couldn't help but feel loved again.
He only asked for a chance, so why can't I give him a second chance, why am I being so persistent? I'll be doing this for Michelle's sake.
I can always tell him about that later not like he's gonna reject her...
"What are you still thinking?"
"Oh nothing...I'll give it a try" I replied him and his face lit up immediately,"are you for real?" He asked to be sure and I nodded.
He smiled handsomely! Gosh have never seen him smiling as wide as this before, he must be very happy about this, I guess I should also be happy.
"We can make it a low-key for now" I added and he nodded in agreement,"I'll give you some space to change and get ready we're leaving soon" he announced nervously.
I laughed at him and he scratched the back of his neck nervously,"this isn't our first time dating, so why are you being nervous?"
"Really am I?"
"Hmm...Yes you're" I responded and he smiled thrilled and he got lost staring at me for a moment.
"What? Why..why are you staring, is there something on my face?" I asked touching my face and he chuckled silently.
"Thank you" he muttered and the atmosphere in the room became timorous and awkward.
"Just leave already" I said when my face was becoming to wear off and he waved before leaving.
Gosh! What has he done to me.

Back at Chicago...
Michelle and Cassie could be seen decorating their apartment and preparing a welcoming party for Meryl.
"Aunt Cassie are you sure she's coming today?" Michelle asked worriedly, she has been expecting her mom to be back since.
Since they haven't been able to contact Meryl eversince Cassie lost her phone, she was just planning to get a new one.
"Oh I'm not sure, but I confirmed it from manson" Cassie replied.
She went into the kitchen and came out with a tray of scotch eggs, she placed it on the dinner table and covered it up.
"I can't help but miss that stubborn lady called Meryl" cassie smiled and Michelle couldn't be more excited than she is already is.

"Hey let me help you with that" Tyrson collected the suitcase from me, though I wanted to declined it was already too late, we've attracted others attention.
"What's going on between those two?" Iris whispered to Julia who shot him a glare immediately.
"You should go ahead and ask them" she said flatly
"You shouldn't be carrying heavy things, you should have asked me or anyone for help" he complained and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Honestly You need to stop making them suspicious" I whispered carefully to him and he gave a nervous smile.
"I don't care" he stated flatly and headed to the car,"what! Unbelievable" I muttered and smiled secretly.

"See you all tomorrow" I waved at them all as I got off from the van which pulled over at my house.
Tyrson winked at me and I smiled secretly, the chauffeur helped me with my luggage and went back.
When I got to the entrance of my apartment, I knocked on the door and it opened without me making any effort to open it.
I walked in and was embraced with the darkness that clouded the room,"is anyone at home", I called but got no response.
"They're not at home, so where could they be?" My heart almost leaped out of my chest, when I remembered I haven't been able to contact Cassie eversince I got there.
I fight my way through the darkness not without bumping into something, but I was fortunate to have found it.
I switched on the lights and what happened next really surprised me,"Tada!!! Welcome back home mummy" Michelle screamed thrilled to see me.
"OMG!" I gasped amazed by the surprise party, I opened my arms and Michelle threw herself at me hugging me tightly.
"I miss you mummy" she confessed,"welcome back home Meryl" Cassie said as she appeared from the kitchen with a chocolate cake in her hands.
"Oh my favorite" Michelle slowly pulled away and to give room for Cassie to hug me.
"I've really missed you guys, and thank you for the welcoming party..." Cassie stuffed the cake into my mouth and they both laughed.

"What?" I screamed out after hearing the incident that happened to them, it's about how her bag got stolen and how Manson helped them.
"I'm happy you're both safe" I uttered mouthful with bacon,"slow down mummy" Michelle said worriedly and I assured her that I'll be fine.
She quickly stood up to go and get me water to drink and Cassie shifted closer to me.
"You look more cheerful, tell me did something interesting happened there and how was it" she interrogated me.
I stopped chewing on the bacon and glared at her, even now she wouldn't let me be in peace.
"It went well and a lot happened there" I retorted and she faked a gasp,"like what really happened?"
"You should know" I rolled her eyes at her and continued chewing on the bacon, I took another bite from the one in my hand.
"Did something happen between you guys?" She stylishly asked and I nodded.
"Yh we did it!"
"What?"
"I have decided to give him a chance and w..we're a thing now" I confessed and Cassie eyes couldn't widen more than it already have.
"Wow, I can't believe it" she muttered while covering her mouth in astonishment.
"So when did you plan on telling him about Michelle?"
"Soon" I replied and smiled secretly when I recalled his handsome smile that drives me nuts.

The next day at Coy....
"You called me here" I said immediately I entered Tyrson's office looking good in my best cloth.
I can't believe I wasted much of my time getting all dressed up like this just to make Tyrson notice me, he looked at me swiftly before looking away.
"Hmmm" he hummed before standing up from his seat, he walked to me and grabbed my hand,"w..what are you doing?" I asked him confused.
"Shhh" he placed his index finger on my lips and made me seat on his table,"we're in the office tyrson" I whispered but he turned a deaf hear.
Instead he pulled out his drawer and brought out a small leather box, he opened it and brought out a silver chain with a heart shaped pendant.
"This is just a little gift for you, hope you liked it?" He asked and I shook my head.
"What you don't like it? I can get you a better one... I gave him a quick peck on his lips staining his lips with the gloss I used.
"I love it Tyrson" I confessed and he smiled widely,"gosh you almost gave a heart attack.
"I love you more Meryl" he added.
"Ok I'm going to where this for you" he said, I hold my hair up while he wear the chain around my neck.
"Thank you" I muttered happily and he hugged my waist tightly while I played with his hair carefully.
"Promise me you will forget about the past and move on with the present" he requested staring into my eyes.
"I promise"
"Let's go on a date after work, I want to spend sometime with you" he stated.
Oh no I still have to pick Meryl up from school and I also want to spend sometime with you, I wanted to say this to him.
"It's okay if you won't be available" he said disappiontedly and I have no choice but to declined his request.
"Why can't it be another day I'm not feeling too" I lied and I've pulled back concerned.
"Are you okay? Do you have a fever" he placed his hand on my forehead to feel my temperature.
"I'm okay" I told him...

Julia just arrived at coy, she got down from the car stylishly dressed and headed to the entrance.
She hasn't gotten to the entrance when a strange man approached her,"excuse me" the man said.
And Julia eyed him from head to toe irritatedly,"what do you want old man?" She asked rudely.
"Please I really need to talk to tyrson" the man said and Julia chuckled,"sorry beggers aren't allowed here" she said quickly and the old man ignored her comment.
"I'm not a begger, I just want to meet him, there is an important information i need to pass through to him", he explained.
"You've lost your mind old man"she name and attempt to go but the old man stopped her.
"Can you give this to him on my behalf" he asked holding a flash drive out for julia to take, then she looked at the man curiously.
She snatched it from him looking at it suspiciously,"please tell him it from the man he saved the other day, and this is to repay his kindness" the man added and left.
"What can it be? I'm curious to know" she smirked before entering the building.
