DAJOH APPOINTS CHIEF PRESS SECRETARY

The Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly and Vice Chairman (North Central) Forum of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Chief Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh has approved the appointment of Mr Terver Zamber as Chief Press Secretary.

Terver Zamber is a visiting lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola, Adamawa State

Zamber served as a news reporter at Gotel Television Yola, Adamawa State. The veteran journalist is a popular program presenter and reporter at Camaa Television, also in Adamawa State

With his background and experience, the Honourable Speaker believes that he will deliver on the job.

GOV. ALIA APPOINTS AGENA RECTOR

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has approved the appointment of Martins Moses Agena PhD as Rector, Akawe Torkula Polytechnic, Makurdi.

Agena, a Development Communication Scholar hails from Guma Local Government Area.

Before his appointment, he was a lecturer with the Federal College of Education Zaria.

He also served as Special Assistant to the immediate past Executive Secretary, Nigeria Shippers' Council, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Jime.

With his huge experience in the academic environment, it is the belief of His Excellency that Agena will be able to change the fortunes of the Polytechnic for good.

While congratulating him, Gov. Alia expressed the hope that as one who has been part of the Divine Mandate project from the onset, and is well abreast of the vision and mission of his administration, Agena should kick the ball rolling immediately after taking over affairs at the institution.
