Yesterday evening, H.E Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu, CON attended the APC National Convention Screening Appeal Committee meeting, held at the Jigawa Lodge, Asokoro, under the distinguished leadership of His Excellency, Umar Namadi, Executive Governor of Jigawa State and Chairman of the Committee.

The meeting also had in attendance key party stakeholders, including Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, immediate past National Chairman of our great party; Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, who serves as Secretary of the Committee; and Zubaida Umar, Executive Secretary of FEMA, alongside other distinguished members.

A productive session dedicated to strengthening internal processes and upholding the integrity of our party’s convention framework.

The former Minister of Power, Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu, CON recently paid a courtesy visit to the former Minister of Information, Alh. Lai Mohammed, CON in his office. A cordial engagement underscoring mutual respect, shared experience in public service, and an enduring commitment to Nigeria’s progress.

I recently paid a condolence visit to Alh. Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu, former Governor of Bauchi State, over the passing of his beloved mother. May Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus and comfort the entire family.

I also met with Alh. Aliyu Modibbo Umar, former Minister of the FCT, during the visit. It was a moment of reflection, compassion, and brotherhood.

It has been my deliberate and conscious policy that each time I go to my hometown, I make out time to interact with the youth under a conducive setting without rancour. As youth constitute about 70% of our population, it is only right that they have direct access to mentorship.
By engaging the youth closely, we help shape character, instil discipline, and build values that prepare them to become responsible leaders n proud ambassadors of our society. Listening to them and nurturing their potential is how we build a strong and more compassionate community.

We visited the family of late Mallam Nata’ala to offer our condolences and prayers. His passing is a great loss to the community. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, illuminate his grave, and comfort those he left behind. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah! We are proud to share that one of our Master’s Scholarship beneficiaries, Mustapha Adamu, has successfully defended his Master’s Thesis in Organic Thermoelectric Materials at Tianjin University, China.

He writes:
