Photos from FCT Covid-19 Situation ROOM's post 27/06/2020

Sequel to the decision of Niger State Government on the repatriation of Alma-jiris to their various states of origin as part of measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the state, the FCT Gender Services Department has received ten (10) Alma-jiris repatriated from Niger State.

Consequently, as a responsive and proactive government, the FCT Department of Gender Services has reunited the Alma-hiris with their immediate family members across the FCT.

COVID-19 IS REAL.

Hello Neighboursin the FCT, trust we are doing great and keeping warm and safe?
Please let note, it's getting really windy and cold nowadays.

The heat and sun did help us a lot from the Corona Virus Spread this is because according to reports the virus didn't thrive well at high temperature but now the temperature is going low we have to be more careful.

We are entering the natural catarrh, cough and sore throat season (due to rain and cold weather). So, let's keep warm, drink lots of warm water, possible take lime too if you have access to lime tea ( either in tea or in warm water), ginger, garlic and pepper soups with our hot local spices.

We should also note that our immunity can drop during raining season due to catarrh, cough and sore throat. So using the suggested natural herbal drinks and hot spices will help to boost our immunity against COVID-19 and other cold symptoms.

Vitamin C and D also help to boost immune Systems. Oranges are very rich in vitamin C and vitamin D you get with some exposure to sunlight.

Be wise and observe all the guidelines of wearing your face masks in public places and keep a distance from people. Always wash your hands and Remember everybody is vulnerable. Covid-19 is no respecter of anyone. Always wash your hands, use sanitizers and keep safe. We shall overcome.

Stay Safe.......
