FEAR:
Though facing a life-threatening situation, he showed no panic. Instead, he maintained focus, asking for direction and tracking the aircraft. This is emotional regulation in leadership. He redirected fear into purposeful decisions, demonstrating high cognitive control under extreme pressure.

HOPE:
His messages carried hope. “Are they going to pick me?” reflects belief in rescue. “Once I see the aircraft, I can raise my peak cap,” shows active optimism and determination to survive. This is Resilience, Staying focused and purposeful even in the face of danger.

TRUST:
He never questioned the coordinating team. He trusted the system, the process and believing his colleagues to doing their part. That level of calm confidence under pressure speaks volumes.

Brig.-Gen. Uba embodied the values of courage, discipline, and loyalty until the very end. His sacrifice is a painful reminder of the risks borne by our heroes in uniform.

May Allah (SWA) grant him Jannah. His legacy lives on, with honor.
