🎪TOPIC: HANDLING EMOTIONS IN MARRIAGE -1

📚👓 TEXT: Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

FOCUS: UNDERSTANDING EMOTIONAL TRIGGERS
Many marriages are wounded and at the verge of divorce not because love is absent, but because emotions are misunderstood. Sometimes the anger is not really about the words spoken today, but about pain carried probably from childhood, background, etc. Try to understand that a simple conversation can become a serious conflict when hidden emotional triggers are touched.
Emotional triggers are those sensitive areas in the heart that react quickly because of past hurts, disappointments, rejection, neglect, stress, or unmet expectations. In marriage, if these emotions are not handled with wisdom, they can slowly create distance between couples who once loved each other deeply.
Note that your spouse may not always be your enemy; spouse's sometimes touches wounds they do not even know exists. So, stop reacting emotionally and start responding consciously, prayerfully and lovingly. To have and maintain a healthy marriage, couples must learn to understand each other’s emotions and relate always with love, patience, kindness, and calmness. We shall not fail in Jesus Name, Amen.

🔥 “Intercession is love carrying another man’s burden before God.”

The climax of prayer is intercession, because intercession moves beyond personal need into the burden of God’s heart. It is love made prayerful. It is selfless. It is the place where a believer stops praying only around his own life and begins to stand before God for another soul, a family, a people, a city, or a generation. Scripture says, “I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land” Ezekiel 22:30. Intercession is not religious performance. It is the holy burden of love answering the heart of God.

A burden from the Lord often comes quietly, but it does not leave easily. It may return again and again in the soul, not as anxiety, but as a spiritual weight calling you to prayer. Paul spoke of travail when he said, “My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you” Galatians 4:19. As a believer grows in sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, he begins to recognize burdens that are not born from fear, emotion, or curiosity, but from God. The burden may feel faint at first, yet if it is from the Spirit, it must be carried before the Lord until prayer gives it expression.

Today, yield yourself to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to teach you how to intercede. Do not ignore the names, faces, nations, families, or situations He keeps bringing before your heart. Carry them in prayer until the burden lifts, until peace comes, or until God gives direction. “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought” Romans 8:26. Intercession is not noise. It is love staying before God until His burden is released in power. 🔥

Munger lived to the age of 99, and throughout his century of life, he maintained that the most valuable thing an investor or leader could possess was not a high IQ, but a low rate of cognitive errors.

We often mistake the acquisition of information for the development of wisdom. In your early years, you study the frameworks, the protocols, and the best practices. This is necessary, but it is incomplete. Rules are generalities designed for the average situation. Real life, however, is defined by the outliers.

True mastery is the ability to recognize when the standard logic no longer applies. It is the seasoned intuition that tells you a certain project is a trap despite it checking every box on your list. Wisdom is knowing that the exception is often more important than the rule itself.

FOCUS: YES, YOU HAVE
In conclusion on this topic, let's look at our lives, environment, deeds, actions, reactions, etc, we would surely discover so many ways by which we can cause others to sin against God and against their conscience. It is of utmost importance for us to understand closely the people around us and relate with them individually.
This discussion is to bring us to the consciousness of the fact that, we can cause others including our family members and the brethren to sin. We also want us to be mindful of our relationship with others including our deeds, and of everything we do or say because there are some insignificant things that easily cause people to sin. We shall not fail in Jesus Name, Amen.

Individual is actually difference. One can easily cause another to sin against God by treating or expecting the same response from everyone. Let's be careful in all our dealings with others.👆🧙‍♂️💇‍♀️

CONFESSION: I am guilty O Lord, causing people to sin against God is most times a conscious intention and the reason is nothing but act of wickedness. My God, please forgive me in Jesus Name.
