Building businesses is one thing, impacting Entrepreneurs who can sustain and scale them is the real deal.

The Noella Foundation’s "Be Empowered" initiative shows that real impact goes beyond funding.

Kudos to for recognising the power of women in enterprise and being intentional about equipping them to scale and create value.

“Collaboration is the highest currency. You shortchange yourself when you try to do everything alone. In community engagement and political organisation, the strength of your network often determines the strength of your impact.”

That was one of the striking takeaways from the session with Hon. Damilola Sonayon-James, Deputy Women Leader of the APC, Lagos State, during our retreat.

She reminded us that influence, mobilisation, and impact in the community space are never built in isolation. They are built through partnerships, trust, and the ability to bring people together around a shared purpose.

A powerful reminder that progress moves faster when people move together.

“If you sow service, you will be served. If you sow followership, you will become a leader.”

That was one of several profound statements shared by Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, during our recent retreat at the Presidential Community Engagement Office (South-West).

Drawing from his experience in public service and grassroots leadership, he reminded us that leadership is not built on titles alone. It is cultivated through service, humility, discipline, and the willingness to learn from others.

He also emphasised the importance of self-awareness and intentional relationships, encouraging us to know who we are and to be mindful of the kinds of people we surround ourselves with, because the company we keep often shapes the leaders we become.

His session challenged us to reflect more deeply on responsibility, character, and the long journey that shapes effective leadership.

A truly insightful engagement.

It is necessary to build a sustainable structure and system, investing in your team is non-negotiable -

Reflection...Strategy....Engagement, these were the key results from our just concluded Team retreat.
A moment to pause, reflect, and strengthen how we moblise, engage communities and communicate government initiatives.

Many thanks to our facilitators and distinguished guests.
