SENATOR I. D. GYANG CONDEMNS B/LADI KILLINGS, CALLS ON COMMUNITIES TO ISOLATE PERPETRATORS OF TERROR AND CRIMINALITY.
The tragic terror killing of 8 innocent persons and 6 others left with gunshot injuries in B/Ladi Town on Saturday, 9 May 2026, is obnoxious and condemnable. Every life lost to violence and terror diminishes our shared humanity and deepens the wounds within our communities.
People in B/Ladi Town have coexisted through seasons of peace and challenges. At a time like this, we must not allow criminals and enemies of peace to divide us along ethnic or religious lines but rather isolate them. Criminality has no tribe, faith, or justification.
I therefore call on all citizens to exercise restraint and resist every provocation capable of igniting reprisals or further bloodshed. Justice must be pursued through lawful means while security agencies intensify efforts to apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators of these heinous acts of terror.
My heartfelt condolences go to the bereaved families and the affected communities.
Senator I. D. Gyang, Esq

SENATOR I. D. GYANG DECRY KILLING OF 13 PERSONS AT NGBRAZONG IN IRIGWE-LAND.
While communities in B/Ladi are still mourning the loss of 14 persons from serial attacks on Gassa, Shogo, and Nding, another devastating terror attack was visited on
Ngbrazongo village in Irigwe-land of Bassa local government where 13 persons were killed the night of Thursday May 7, 2026.
It is disheartening that human lives are being wasted with impunity at an alarming rate. These atrocious acts of terror are thoroughly reprehensible.
As I empathise with the latest victims of attack on Ngbrazongo community of Irigwe-land, I call for intensification of security measures to arrest these renewed killings, which are inimical to peace and peaceful coexistence in our dear state.
Senator I. D. Gyang, Esq.

SENATOR I. D. GYANG CONDEMN TERROR KILLINGS AT GYEL, JOL, GASSA, SHOGO & NDING.
A killing spree from terror attacks in the last two weeks recording painful and avoidable deaths at Gyel (3 killed), Jol, Gassa (3 killed), Shogo (5 killed), and now Nding (6 killed) deserves outright denunciation and condemnation of peace loving and well meaning Nigerians.
The continuous terror killings on the Plateau and across Nigeria is a grave assault on our collective humanity, peace, and national conscience. No society can thrive where citizens sleep in fear, bury loved ones daily, and live under the shadow of violence and uncertainty. The sanctity of human life must remain sacred and protected at all costs.
I therefore urge governments at all levels and security agencies to reenforce the security and safety of vulnerable communities and rise decisively to apprehend the perpetrators of these heinous crimes and bring them to justice.
As we grieve the loss of loved ones, we must not surrender to fear or despair. Let us remain vigilant, united, and resolute against the evil of terror seeking to destabilize and destroy our communities.
I mourn with the affected families and communities in this season of pain and sorrow.
Senator I. D. Gyang, Esq.
