‎Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi Lado Suleja today attended the Wedding Fatiha of Abdulmalik Muhammad Bisallah of Tungan Makama, a dedicated member of the Hon. Lado Suleja Media Crew, as his beloved bride Fatima Abdullahi (Zarah) was joined with him in holy matrimony.
‎The presence of Hon. Lado Suleja at the solemnization further demonstrated his humility, accessibility, and strong bond with his supporters and media team members. His attendance added honour, joy, and significance to the occasion, reaffirming his reputation as a leader who values relationships and stands with his people in moments of happiness and celebration.

A Call to the New Niger State Government Team: Prioritize Key Areas for Success

I note with interest that the newly elected Council Chairmen of Niger State, alongside the newly nominated Hon Commissioners and Members of the State Executive Council, are currently undergoing a retreat ahead of their inauguration. I want to take this opportunity to implore them to make the most of this retreat and equip themselves to support Governor Bago's administration and policies.

As they prepare to take office, I urge them to focus on key areas that will drive progress and development in Niger State. Security, agriculture, and human development capacity are critical areas that require attention and support. I encourage them to use this retreat to learn, share ideas, and develop strategies to address these pressing issues.

I also call on all traditional installations and religious leaders across Niger State to lend their voices and support to this noble effort. Your influence and guidance are crucial in mobilizing our communities to take a stand against terrorism, kidnapping, and banditry, and to promote peaceful coexistence.

Governor Bago's administration has shown commitment to improving security, boosting agriculture, and enhancing human development. I believe that with the right support and collaboration, the new government team can make significant strides in these areas.

I call on the council chairmen, hon commissioners, and executive council members to take advantage of this retreat to build their capacity, share best practices, and develop a clear roadmap for supporting Governor Bago's policies. Together, we can build a better Niger State.

TRANSFORMING NIGER STATE: A NEW ERA OF PROGRESS AND PROSPERITY*

EPISODE 1

I am pleased to report that Niger State is undergoing a remarkable transformation under the leadership of Governor Umar Bago. Over the past 2 years, the state has made significant strides in improving infrastructure, revolutionizing agriculture, Human Development, restoring peace and security.

*INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT*

The state government has invested heavily in infrastructure development, including the construction of new roads, healthcare facilities, and other projects. Some notable projects include:

1- Construction of Road in each of the 25 LGAs, which is currently ongoing and expected to improve connectivity and facilitate trade across the state.

2- Construction of Primary Health Care Centres in selected LGAs, which are now completed and providing quality healthcare services to citizens.

3- Construction of IBB Lapai University Teaching Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility that will provide specialized medical care and training for healthcare professionals.

4- Installation of over 250 Transformers across 25 LGAs, improving electricity supply and powering homes and businesses.

AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION

Agriculture is the backbone of Niger State's economy, and the state government is committed to unlocking its full potential. Innovative programs have been introduced to support farmers, increase crop yields, and promote agro-processing.

Some initiatives include:

- The establishment of the Niger State Agricultural Development Program, which provides farmers with access to modern farming techniques, inputs, and markets.
- The introduction of mechanized farming, which has increased productivity and reduced drudegery for farmers.
- The promotion of irrigation farming, which has enabled farmers to cultivate crops all year round.

SECURITY

The state government has made significant progress in restoring peace and security. Security agencies have been strengthened, community policing has been introduced, and citizens have been encouraged to take ownership of their security.

Some notable achievements include:

- The establishment of the Niger State Peace Committee, which brings together stakeholders to promote peace and resolve conflicts.
- The launch of the "See Something, Say Something" campaign, which encourages citizens to report suspicious activities to the authorities.
- The deployment of security personnel to hotspots, which has led to a significant reduction in crime and insecurity.

As Niger State continues to progress, I appeal to all citizens to support Governor Bago's administration in delivering its campaign promises. Together, we can build a safer, more prosperous, and more resilient Niger State.
