At the inauguration of the new National Working Committee (NWC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) earlier today at the party’s NEC meeting, National Chairman Sen. David Mark delivered a powerful speech setting the tone for a new era of integrity, unity, and progressive leadership.

KEY COMMITMENTS FROM HIS ADDRESS:

✅ Internal Democracy & Transparency: No imposition, no special privileges, fairness for all.
✅ 35% Leadership Positions for Women and active inclusion of youths under 40.
✅ Zero tolerance for anti-party activities and indiscipline.

ADC’s 99th NEC MEETING: NEW LEADERSHIP, BOLD REFORMS!

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has sworn in Sen. David Mark as Interim National Chairman and Ogbenu Rauf Aregbesola as Interim National Secretary at its historic 99th NEC meeting in Abuja.

Sen. Mark vowed to entrench internal democracy, transparency, and youth & women inclusion, reserving 35% of leadership roles for women and prioritizing youth under 40 in governance. A 50-member Policy Committee will also be established to reform the party’s manifesto and address critical national issues.

Outgoing Chairman Hon. Ralph Nwosu commended ADC’s steadfast resistance to external pressure:

“ADC said no to dictatorship. We stood our ground for democracy.”

KEY DECISIONS:

✅ Reinstatement of expelled members (except 2023 Presidential candidate Dumebi Kachikwu)
✅ Dissolution of the former NWC and BoT for a fresh start
