MDZOUGH U TIV ABUJA CHAPTER DISTANCES ITSELF FROM POLITICAL GATHERING CALLED BY TIV TRADITIONAL CHIEFS IN ABUJA.

The Mdzough U Tiv Abuja Chapter, under the leadership of Prince Terver Kokoiwen Michael wishes to distance itself from a political gathering purportedly organized in the name of Mdzough U Tiv Abuja Chapter by unauthorized individuals.

This disclaimer is necessitated by a secret meeting allegedly called by unknown persons using the name of Mdzough U Tiv Abuja Chapter. The President, Prince Terver Kokoiwen, questions the motive behind such a meeting, stating that Tiv people in Abuja cannot be sold out cheaply. He noted that traditional leaders are known to be non-partisan and should not use their positions to undermine the unity of the Tiv people in Abuja.

The President of Mdzough U Tiv Abuja Chapter urges all well-meaning Tiv voting population in Abuja to remain calm and await a directive and position statement from the organization after consultations with Tiv political leaders in Abuja.

The President clearly stated that political issues with FCT Abuja within the Tiv community are best to be addressed by Tiv Political Hub, a political platform that is managing political affairs for Tiv people in the FCT Abuja.
