The Haske Bola Tinubu Organisation was ably present during the civic reception organized by the Kano state Government to usher in a new dawn with the official decamping of Gov. Abba Yusuf into the APC.

The team was fully represented by the Founder/ Chairman Alh. Abba Atiku and the Director General, Hon. Isaac T. Adema and a few trustee members in Kano state today.

The Deputy President of the Senate and Patron of the Organisation, Sen. Barau I Jibrin,CFR who was on hand to grace the auspicious occasion as a special guest welcomed the Governor of Kano state to the APC and assured him of a level playing field and ensured all to support the return of President Bola Ahemd Tinubu in 2027.

This signaled a healthy and good start in the political developments of Nigeria .

APC RELEASES SCHEDULE FOR CONGRESSES

Breaking News: APC Drops Full Schedule For Congresses & National Convention Ahead Of 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the full timetable for its congresses and National Convention ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the schedule issued by the APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, notices for Ward and Local Government Congresses will be issued on February 2, 2026, while the sale and submission of forms will take place from February 4 to February 9, 2026.

Ward Congresses are scheduled for February 18, 2026, followed by Local Government Congresses on February 20, 2026. Appeals arising from the Ward and Local Government Congresses will be handled between February 21 and February 22, 2026.

State Congresses will hold on March 7, 2026, while Zonal Congresses across the six geopolitical zones are slated for March 21, 2026.

The process will conclude with the APC National Convention scheduled to hold from March 25 to March 28, 2026, marking the completion of the party’s internal elections ahead of 2027.

Sen. Barau I Jibrin, Deputy Senate President proclaimed ........

Today at the National Assembly, I formally received Abubakar Atiku Abubakar (popularly known as Abba), the son of the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, into our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a bold and historic move, Abba announced his resignation from the PDP and declared his full commitment and support to the APC and the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in 2027.

I received him together with several stakeholders of our great party, including the National Vice Chairman (North-East), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, presidential aide and chieftain of the APC, Alhaji Mahmoud Abdullahi, elder statesman, Malam Hamza Darma, among others.

Abba's words:, “My name is Abubakar Atiku Abubakar, but everyone calls me Abba. I am here today to formally announce my exit from my former party and my decision to join the APC following the outstanding leadership style and quality of the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin.

“With this development, I will work closely with Senator Barau to actualise the second-term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. I am also directing all coordinators and members of my organisation, Haske Atiku Association now Haske Bola Tinubu Organisation to join the APC and work for the second term bid of President Tinubu.”

Welcoming him, I described his decision as courageous and ideological. He made this decision based on conviction, not because of who his father is, but because he believes in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's ideology and programmes for the country.

I assured him and his supporters of maximum support within the party. He has been following political developments of the country from the United States and was impressed by the administration’s reforms and outreach efforts, prompting him to return home and join the APC.

The highlight of the event was the renaming of the political association of Abba, Haske Atiku, to Haske Bola Tinubu Organisation, signalling a complete realignment of its structure and mission ahead of 2027.
