SPECIAL RELEASE
The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES) on behalf of the Governing Council hereby inform members of the public and candidates who will be willing to change their choice of University to FUTES, that the National University Commission has approved the following courses for the University for the 2025/2026 academic session.
1. SCIENCE
Departments: Biochemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Forensic Science, Geology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics, Animal and Environmental Biology, Biotechnology, Science Laboratory Technology, Environmental Management and Toxicology.
2. ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY
Departments: Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.
3. ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES
Departments: Architecture, Building Technology, Estate Management and Valuation, Environmental Management, Industrial Design, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geoinformatics, Urban and Regional Planning.
4. COMPUTING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Departments: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Information and Communication Technology.

2025 BATCH 'B' STREAM 2 ORIENTATION COMMENCES SEPT 24, 2025
The 2025 Batch 'B' Stream Two Orientation Course has been scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 24th September, 2025 in all NYSC Orientation Camps across the country.
Camp Registration for all Corps Members would hold between Wednesday 24th and Friday 26th September, 2025.
The Swearing-in Ceremony holds on Friday 26th September, while the Closing Ceremony will take place on Tuesday 14th October, 2025.
The Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu wishes all Prospective Corps Members safety of travel to their respective Orientation Camps.
He also advised them not to embark on night journeys while travelling to their Orientation Camps.
