*A Powerful Walk Through Ado-Ekiti, United by Humanity and Service*
The spirit of "United in Humanity" came alive in Ado-Ekiti as members of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Ekiti State Branch, gathered at the Central Mosque for a special Jumat service to commemorate World Red Cross and Red Crescent Week 2026.
During the service, the Branch Secretary reminded worshippers that the Red Cross is not defined by religion, tribe, or status, but by humanity and service to people in need.
Shortly after, volunteers in red took to the streets in a colorful roadshow from Oja Oba through Okeiyinmi and Okeisa down to the branch office at Oluyemi Kayode Stadium. As chants, banners, and humanitarian messages filled the roads, residents stopped to watch a moving reminder that humanity is strongest when people stand together for one another.

Happy birthday to me. God I'm grateful for how far you've brought me. In this new age, I pray for divine health, protection and favour of God in Jesus name. Order my steps, open doors I cannot open for myself and let your light shine through me. Bless the work of my hands. May this new year be filled with blessings and greatness. Please celebrate me.
