Ondo Govt Moves to Procure New Waste Trucks – Alabi It’s All About News and Gists

YALI NON GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION PARTNERED OSWMA ON RESOURCE SEPARATION INITIATIVE ALONG ADESIDA ROAD.
A non Government Organization " Young Africa Initiative " was in collaboration with Ondo State waste management Authority in launching source separation project at popular OjaOba & Isolo markets area of Adesida road.The energetic team demonstrated the exercise through an aggressive "clean up campaign" and sensitization by promoting sorting of plastic materials into a specially designed storage bins.
The essence of the initiative is to inculcate the global concepts of resource separation into the daily culture of the public and to reduce the volume towards the upcoming Yuletide season of refuse through the separation of recyclable materials from the residual waste.
The team further comprises the management staff and other uniform personnel of the Authority.The enlightenment & community mobilization team of the Authority is to further sensitized the public on the success of the pilot project.

CLEAN UP INITIATIVE AND SEPARATION AT SOURCE.

The OMOH FOUNDATION partnered with Ondo State Waste Management Authority in ensuring cleaner environment.This was disclosed by the founder,Hon Omololu of Igba Otun LCDA .In attendance were the Hon.Commissioner for Youth & Sports,Hon.Chairman of Waste mgt,the General manager of OSWMA and Directors , political players in the State etc.
The Hon.Commissioner for Youth and Hon Chairman of OSWMA lauded the effort of the initiator.The initiator informed that the program was conceived through the exigency of the Oba Ile/ Airport road as gate way to the state capital and it is to be founded with part of his salary and the foundation fund.
The highway sweeping is to commence from Fiwasaye/Mobil to Airport road.The program was unveiled by the Hon.chairman of OSWMA and General manager of the Agency.
