IS IT ABSOLUTELY TRUE THAT " WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOESN'T EXIST".?
The popular slogan, “What God cannot do does not exist,” may sound powerful and faith-filled, but when examined deeply, it is not entirely correct. There are indeed things that exist which God cannot do — not because He lacks power, but because His nature, character, and divine essence place certain limitations on what He will never do.✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

God is Almighty, sovereign, and supreme over all creation. However, His omnipotence does not mean He acts contrary to His holiness, truth, righteousness, and divine nature. There are things impossible for God, not due to weakness, but due to perfection.💯⚪

For instance, the Bible says in Titus 1:2 that “God cannot lie.” Lies exist in the world, yet God cannot tell lies because truth is His nature. Likewise, Hebrews 6:18 states that “it is impossible for God to lie.” Therefore, lying exists, but God cannot do it.⚔️

Again, God cannot deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13 declares: “He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.” This means God cannot act against His own divine identity or contradict His own character.📜🌈

God also cannot sin. Sin exists everywhere in human society, but God is too holy to commit evil. Habakkuk 1:13 says His eyes are too pure to behold iniquity. Thus, evil exists, but God cannot participate in it.✨🔥

Furthermore, God cannot fail in His promises. Humans may break covenants, but God cannot abandon His word because His integrity is eternal. Numbers 23:19 says: “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent.”🤝✅

Therefore, when people say, “What God cannot do does not exist,” they often mean that God has unlimited power to solve human problems, heal diseases, perform miracles, and intervene in impossible situations. In that context, the statement is meant to inspire faith and confidence in God’s ability.✨✨✨✨

However, from a theological and scriptural standpoint, the statement is inaccurate when taken literally. There are things that exist which God cannot do — not because He is powerless, but because His perfection forbids Him from acting contrary to His holy nature.🌈🔥✨

So, the better expression may be:
“There is no challenge beyond God’s power, except anything contrary to His nature and will.”
True understanding of God is not merely in magnifying His power, but also in recognizing His character, holiness, truth, and righteousness.🔥✨🌈⚔️💯

The Dangers of Breaking the Ibadan Accord.

The recent convergence of opposition forces in Ibadan—comprising the ADC, LP, and a faction of the PDP under the leadership of Seyi Makinde—was a significant and strategic step toward reshaping Nigeria’s political landscape ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The essence of that meeting, widely referred to as the Ibadan Accord and Declaration, was clear: unity of purpose through the emergence of a single, formidable presidential candidate capable of challenging the incumbent APC government led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

History has repeatedly shown that a divided opposition is often the ruling party’s greatest advantage. If the opposition parties abandon the spirit and letter of the Ibadan Accord by fielding multiple candidates, they risk fragmenting their voter base, weakening their collective strength, and inadvertently paving the way for an easy victory for the APC in 2027.

The stakes are too high for personal ambitions and political calculations to override the collective interest. The Nigerian electorate is increasingly yearning for credible alternatives, but such alternatives can only become viable through unity, discipline, and strategic alignment among opposition leaders.

In this regard, respected figures such as Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso play pivotal roles. Any plans of defection, political isolation, or unilateral ambition at this critical juncture could undermine the broader goal of reclaiming power. Rather than pursuing divergent paths, there is a compelling need for these leaders to remain committed to coalition-building and to work collaboratively with other opposition stakeholders.

The Ibadan Accord represents more than a political agreement—it is a symbol of hope for a united opposition and a more competitive democratic process. To break it now would not only weaken the opposition but also diminish public confidence in their capacity to govern cohesively.

Therefore, the call is clear: let unity prevail over division, and let collective interest triumph over individual pursuits. Only through a sustained commitment to the Ibadan Declaration can the opposition truly position itself as a credible and winning alternative in 2027.

LEGAL CONCEPT OF BREACH OF PROMISE TO MARRIAGE.

A promise to marriage is a legally binding contract or agreement where two parties, usually in a romantic relationship, mutually agree to enter into marriage in the future often by way of engagement or betrothal.

Breach of Promise to Marry occurs when two people agreed to get married, and One party backs out without justification, causing harm to the other.

To successfully establish a breach of Promise to marry, you must prove more than just “we were dating.”

Because a mere romantic relationship without more is not enough for a court to found an agreement to marry.

While the law may at times require that an agreement to marry should be in writing, the law will be prepared to hold, in appropriate cases, that the parties intended to marry in the absence of any written agreement.

Two elements are necessary to constitute a breach of agreement or promise of marriage, viz;
(a) the party jilted must prove to the satisfaction of the court that there was in fact a promise of marriage under the Matrimonial Causes Act, 1990, or under Islamic law or Customary law, on the part of the other s*x; and

(b) Acceptance of that promise by the other partner.

(c) Reliance on the promise which led to making sacrifices or financial commitments towards the union.

(d) the party reneging has really, and as a matter of fact, failed or refused to keep to the agreement of marriage.

If a breach occurs, the wronged party may sue for damages, which can cover emotional distress, expenses incurred in preparation for the wedding (special damages), and general damages for injury to feelings.
