Akwanga today, 22nd November, 2025 has its illustrious sons and entire entourage of the traditional council in Jos Plateau State, as Nasarawa GWOM in Jos was turned into a mini Akwanga where Adamu Tanko Macido played host to all friends, family and we'll wishers in Jos where his nephew took a bride, today.

The wedding that saw a display of Royalty, class and grandeur had the sons of Akwanga and its entire traditional Council as well as polictians and we'll wishers from Nasarawa State storming Jos to witness the union.

YASEER is son to the erudite late professor, brother to Adamu Tanko Macido.

Everything Akwanga wishes the new couple a happy married life.

The *Majalisan Gyungon (The Rgt. Hon. Emmanuel Joseph Leweh late's own Majalisan, a registered Committee of friends)* in collaboration with the *Mada Development Association (Youth Wing)* will be holding a candlelight procession In honour of our late Icon, *Rgt. Hon. Emmanuel Joseph Leweh late* on Tuesday, 18th January, 2022 immediately after the wake at his house.

The procession which will take off from his residence to the Local Government Secretariat will feature the appearance of all and sundry in Black wears and candlelights as we light the path of our dear Boss, Brother, Uncle, Mentor, our amiable Icon and architect of Modern Akwanga, will also be rounded up with prayers for our mentor.

All friends of our late Icon can join the procession which will commence immediately after the wake.
Our icon have impacted so much on all of us, earned our respects and love. It's too sad we have to mourn at the moment when dreams were beginning to catch life.
The great man will be greatly missed.
