Over the weekend, I joined Itsekiri sons and daughters, both at home and in the Diaspora, to celebrate the 5th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri.
As an Itsekiri son, this celebration holds a special place in my heart. Beyond the colourful ceremonies and activities marking the occasion, it was a beautiful expression of our shared heritage, culture, unity and deep respect for the revered institution of the Warri Kingdom.
I was honoured to participate in most of the activities held across the different days, alongside His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, other Royal Fathers, distinguished leaders, dignitaries, Itsekiri sons and daughters, and friends of the Kingdom.
Five years into his reign, His Royal Majesty has continued to provide inspiring leadership and strengthen the bonds of unity among our people.
I join the Itsekiri nation in celebrating our King and praying for many more years of wisdom, good health, peace and impactful reign.
Long live His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III!
Long live the Warri Kingdom!
Long live the Itsekiri people! 👑
OGIAME!!! SUO!!!
