Bauchi state chairman NYCN Comrade Muhammad Nasir Idris Condemns the Heinous Killing of Local Security Personnel in Gwana, Alkaleri LGA
It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that The chairman NYCNcondemns in the strongest terms the gruesome and senseless killing of local security operatives (Yan Banga) by Bandits in Gwana District of Alkaleri Local Government Area, Bauchi State.
This tragic incident, which occurred in the late hours of yesterday, is not just an attack on the people of Alkaleri, but a direct assault on the peace and security of Bauchi State and the entire Northern region. It further underscores the deteriorating state of security in our beloved nation, particularly in communities once considered safe from such atrocities.
Comrade Nasir expresses his heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen heroes, the people of Gwana, Alkaleri LGA, and the entire Bauchi State. These brave men paid the ultimate price while safeguarding their community, and their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
He therefore calls for:
1. An urgent and thorough investigation by relevant security agencies to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice.
2. Increased security presence and support in Gwana and other vulnerable communities in Alkaleri and across Bauchi State.
3. Immediate support and compensation for the families of the deceased local security personnel.

I urge all levels of government, traditional institutions, and community leaders to unite in our resolve to end this bloodshed and restore peace to our land," Nasir"
