FEDERAL GOVERNMENT APPROVES AN UPWARD REVIEW OF NIGERIAN PASSPORT FEES TO ENSURE QUALITY AND INTEGRITY!!!

On 21st August 2024, the Federal Government of Nigeria approved an upward review of the Nigerian passport fees to ensure quality and integrity. Starting 1st September 2024 the new fees for the Nigerian passport will be as accordingly listed below:

1, 32 pages N50,000
2, 64 pages N100,000

The general public is therefore notified to please take cognizance of this upward review.

BAUCHI IMMIGRATION SEEKS EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION AND SYNERGY

The Comptroller of Immigration in charge of the Bauchi State Command, CIS M. M. Maradun, has called for effective collaboration and synergy between the Immigration Service and other security agencies in Bauchi State.

The Comptroller made this appeal during his familiarization visits to the offices of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and the Department of State Services (DSS) today.

At the DSS office, discussions focused on measures to address child trafficking and child labor which according to intelligence is on the rise. Meanwhile, at the NPF Command, the talks centered on enhancing security across the state.

Additionally, the Comptroller paid a courtesy visit to the Christians Pilgrims Welfare Board, where he congratulated the new executive Secretariat on his recent appointment.

The Comptroller informed the new Executive Secretary of the new policy in passport application process urging the board to follow the new initiative for a seamless Standard passport acquisition.

BAUCHI STATE COMMAND WELCOMES NEW COMPTROLLER.

Bauchi State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service welcomes the newly posted Comptroller of Immigration, M M Maradun Pcc, Fcna to the command with a colorful quarter guard.

Mr. Maradun assumed his duties at the command on 4th April 2024, having been transferred from NIS SHQ following the posting of the former Comptroller of Bauchi State Command to Seme Border Command.

CIS Maradun, is a seasoned Immigration officer recognized for his tact and discipline, encourages the officers and men of Bauchi State Command to uphold high standards of professionalism and discipline in the ex*****on of their duties.

He has also pledged his commitment to advancing the Nigeria Immigration Service's mission in Bauchi State by implementing enhanced, modern, and collaborative initiatives with relevant stakeholders.

Prior to his assignment to Bauchi State Command, CIS Maradun Pcc, Fcna served as the Comptroller, Cash Unit at the NIS SHQ.
