ONE DAY CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP ON MONITORING AND EVALUATION

The Bauchi State Health Trust Fund agency, in collaboration with Whitebrain Consultant Limited, recently held a workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). The workshop aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of M&E principles and practices in government work.

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) refers to the systematic process of collecting, analyzing, and using data to track progress, assess performance, and inform decision-making.

Key topics covered in the workshop likely included:
- Overview of M&E frameworks and tools
- Data collection and analysis techniques
- Performance indicators and metrics
- Reporting and feedback mechanisms

The workshop was designed to enhance participants' skills in M&E, ultimately contributing to improved program effectiveness and accountability in healthcare delivery.

Earlier in his opening remarks, Dr. Sani Ibrahim Ningi, Executive Secretary of Bauchi State Health Trust Fund Agency, emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluation in civil service. He stressed that acquiring knowledge in M&E is crucial for achieving goals and urged participants to learn diligently, grasping the logic and techniques to effectively apply them in their duties. Dr. Ningi wished participants a fruitful discussion and a successful workshop.

*WORKSHOP ON WORK ETHICS AND VALUE RE-ORIENTATION HOLDS AT BAUCHI HEALTH TRUST FUND AGENCY*

A one-day capacity building workshop on Contemporary Issues in Work Ethics and Value Re-orientation was held for staff of Bauchi Health Trust Fund Agency (BHETFUND) in Bauchi.

The workshop, organized by Whitebrain Consult Limited, aimed to enhance staff performance and promote a culture of excellence in the agency.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Executive Secretary of Bhetfund, Dr. Sani Ibrahim Ningi, emphasized his commitment to motivating staff to achieve long-term success in their mission to improve healthcare services in the state.

"I will not waste any time in ensuring we achieve our goals," he declared, officially opening the workshop.

Resource person at the workshop highlighted the importance of teamwork, ethics, accountability, and values in achieving success in the workplace.

The workshop is expected to have a positive impact on staff performance and ultimately contribute to improved healthcare delivery in Bauchi State.

In closing remarks, Bhetfund's Director of Human Resources, Mal Auwal Hardawa, urged participants to implement the knowledge gained during the training, saying it would contribute to improved healthcare delivery in Bauchi State.

MAMA KIT DONATION TO HEALTH FACILITIES IN BAUCHI STATE.

In a persuant of It's Mandate The Bauchi State Health Trust Fund Donated 150 Pack Of F Mama Kids To Township Phcc Kirfi, Giade, and Toro Lga Which Will Be Given to Pregnant Women In The Community to Assist Them In The Hardship Problems Encounter During Child Delivery.

A new initiative is underway to encourage pregnant women in rural areas to attend health facilities for proper medical care during pregnancy and delivery. The "Mama Kit" is a delivery package containing essential items needed during and after labor, aimed at promoting maternal healthcare and reducing risks associated with home deliveries.

The Mama Kit is designed to support women in rural communities, providing them with necessary supplies and incentivizing them to seek medical attention from qualified healthcare professionals. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to improving maternal and infant health outcomes in the region.

THE BAUCHI STATE HEALTH TRUST FUND AGENCY "Bhetfund" HOSTS SISTER AGENCY KANO STATE HEALTH TRUST FUND AGENCY "KETFund" ON COLLABORATION VISIT

Bauchi State Health Trust Fund Agency (Bhetfund) today hosted a delegation from Kano State Health Trust Fund Agency (Ketfund) led by Executive Secretary Dr. Fatima Usman Zahraddeen.

In his welcome address, Bhetfund Executive Secretary Dr. Sani Ibrahim Ningi described the visit as "historical", noting that Bhetfund was modeled after Ketfund. He highlighted Bhetfund's achievements, including renovation of health facilities, solar installations, and sponsorship of health personnel for training.

Dr. Fatima Usman Zahraddeen in her response, briefed on Ketfund's interventions, announcing that Ketfund disbursed over N2 billion for 90 healthcare interventions in 2025, including equipment procurement, infrastructure development, and accreditation payments.

She also highlighted that Ketfund's interventions aim to strengthen Kano State's healthcare sector. "This reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery," Dr. Zahraddeen stated.

Both sides presented a power point presentation showcasing their performance of their agencies and visiting some Health Facilities in Dass LG as part of Bhetfund achievement in 2025.

*REPORT ON 3-DAY CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP*

Bauchi State Health Trust Fund Agency (Bhetfund) in collaboration with Wailo Consult organized a 3-day workshop on "Effective Performance and Productivity in the Workplace" from monday December 29/12/2025 and end today Wednesday 31/12/2025.

The workshop was aimed to motivate staff, enhance skills, and promote teamwork, Enhance staff skills and knowledge in respective areas and Promote teamwork and collaboration among staff.

In his welcome address, the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Health Trust Fund (Bhetfund) Dr. Sani Ibrahim urged participants to apply the knowledge gained during the session and apply it while discharged their duty accordingly.

During the session Five papers presented by facilitators on:
- Public Service Rule
- Communication and Hierarchical Layers of Authority in an Organisation
- Code of Ethics for Civil Servants
- Communication Skills for Success
- ICT for Public Service.

Fruitful deliberations and discussions was performed by participants.

Similarly, the workshop is designed to come up with a following:
Equipped staff with tools to excel in their roles
- Enhanced skills and knowledge in respective areas
- Promoted teamwork and collaboration

Finally, workshop was a resounding success, with participants expressing appreciation for the opportunity to learn and network.

THE FOURTH MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF BHETFUND

The fourth meeting of the Governing Board of the Bauchi State Health Trust Fund Agency (Bhetfund) was held today, Wednesday, 19 November 2015, at the Conference Hall of the Agency, chaired by Alh Umar Sanda, Chairman of the Board.

The meeting reviewed the agency's activities since January 2015 and discussed future plans. The Executive Secretary, Dr. Sani Ibrahim Ningi, presented a comprehensive report on the agency's achievements and highlighted challenges.

Board members commended the Executive Secretary for his effective leadership and efforts in driving the agency's progress. The members also agreed to focus on future plans, prioritizing strategies to enhance healthcare delivery in the state.
