That’s what makes me upset.

Late Usman Aliyu Babangida , Babangida Kuku as he was fondly called was more than a friend to me. We have been together since childhood, the relationship that metamorphosed to be a blood bond.

We share family things together and continue to stand for one another in the event of need

I woke up this morning just to learn that he passed away following an armed bandits attack in his residence at Unguwar Sarki Bungudu.

When I heard about his death I became heart-broken and grief-stricken remembering fully how we grew up together to reach where we were today.

Babangida's death has left a huge vaccum that will be difficult to fill among our colleagues. He had been such an easy going person that lived a simple life worthy of emulation by all.

I pray that Allah SWT Will grant him an Exalted place in Jannatul Firdaus.

For those kidnapped during the attack, I pray for Allah's protection to them and may He (Allah) grant us courage to withstand the pain associated with the incidence.

Allah SWT Ya zaunar da mu LAFIYA Ya cigaba da bamu amincinSa.

Assalamu Alaikum.

The people of Maru And Bungudu Local Government Areas, as we have commenced the distribution of empowerment materials aimed at improving the livelihoods and economic well-being of our youths, farmers, women, and men, Insha Allah, this is only the beginning.

We are committed to continuing these efforts and reaching more members of our communities. By the grace of Allah, everyone who is destined to benefit from these initiatives will have the opportunity to do so.

We sincerely pray that Allah continues to strengthen us, grants us the means and capacity to do more, and enables us to continue supporting and empowering our people.

May Allah bless these efforts, increase their impact, and make them a source of lasting benefit to our communities Ameen.

Earlier yesterday, I hosted the management of the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) in a productive engagement in Abuja the nation's capital.

Our discussion during the visit resolved around facilitating the University's advancement to yield academic excellence.

We will Insha Allahu continue to remain determined towards supporting education of our constituents.
