....SEMA Distributes Empowerment kits, as 100 beneficiaries went home with Tailoring Starter Pack

Today friday 17th March 2023 SEMA supported 100 Tailors earlier identified in an effort to support early recovery and peace building amongst communities recovering from aged long conflict.
This support will boost the local economy of the communities and support local peace building process.

Executive Secretary SEMA while delivering the items on behalf of state Government, informed the beneficiaries that this is a continuation of the early recovery peace buildinsupport as another set of 250 from Fune and Fika were earlier trained on different skills and give start up grant.

Beneficiaries were enjoined to use the items for the intended purpose.

His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Yobe state Hon. Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) has today Monday 13 March-2023 attended the funeral prayer of Alh Bala Salisu Bakabe state Chairman of Jama'atul Izalatul Bidi'a wa ikkamatusunnah (Kaduna)

The funeral prayer was led by Sheikh Aliyu Mustapha Telex, Chairman council of Ulamas JIBWIS at Hausari Nguru local government attended by thousands of Sympathisers.

Late Bala Salisu Bakabe died on Sunday after a brief illness at the Age of 81 and is survived by Four wives (4) 24 children and many Grandchildren.

The Deputy Governor on behalf of himself and government condoled the Immediate brother of the deceased Alh Abubakar Bakabe( Alh Abuta) APC state secretary and Emir of Nguru, Alh Mustapha Ibn Kyari.

He expressed Sympathy and prayed for the repose soul of the deceased and for the family the fortitude to bear the lost, he also prayed for Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdausi.

Those in attendance were the Speaker Yobe state House of assembly, APC state party executives, Secretary to the state government

Others were Members of the state executive council, some members of the state House of assembly and special advisers.

The Emirs of Nguru and Machina emirates attended the funeral prayer and other top Government functionaries

Special prayers were offered by special Adviser on religious affairs, Ustas Babagana Mallan Kyari.

May Aljannatul Firdausi be the reward of his good deeds.

GOV BUNI MEETS WOMEN WINGS IN POTISKUM.

His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state Hon Mai Mala Buni CON ( Chiroman Gujba)on Tuesday met with the 2000 women operation show your voter card for Tinubu Kashim and Buni Gubana 2023 in Federal technical college of education Potiskum.

The Governor said that the role of women in politics can never be underated due to the crucial role they play in electoral process by providing millions of votes.

The Governor was represented by his Deputy His Excellency Hon Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) who noted that women are grassroot mobilizers and key for victory, urging them not to allow any one to mislead them or convince them to sale their votes.

Also speaking the zonal Director APC camping council Prof Bello kawuwa said APC has done well in Yobe and Nigeria as a whole, the only thing for people to pay back is to re- elect Buni Gubana and other APC candidates across the Nation.

The candidate for the House of representatives for Potiskum Nangere federal constituency Hon Fatsuma Talba thanked Governor Buni and the people of her constituency for giving her opportunity assured to do the needful for the electorates

According to her the reason for the gathering of 2000 women with voter cards was to reaffirm their readiness for the February and March elections and stand for APC at all levels.

The Caretaker committee Chairman, Salisu Muktari and Party Chairman of Potiskum local government Bala Musa Lawan enjoined the electorates not to involve themselves in anti party activities because the danger and consequences will affect the state.

Highlights of the occasion was announcement of campaign materials from His Excellency Hon Mai Mala Buni and Party Chairman Mohammad Gadaka as well as Sen Ibràhim Mohammad Bomai.
