Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s construction of flyovers across Delta State is not a political showpiece—it is a deliberate investment in the future of our state. These projects are timely, necessary, and strategically located to improve transportation, ease traffic congestion, stimulate economic growth, and enhance the daily lives of Deltans.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's recent remarks on flyover construction were never directed at Delta State. Anyone who understands the realities on the ground knows that every flyover being constructed in Delta State addresses genuine infrastructure needs and supports the state's economic development.

It is therefore disappointing that the immediate past Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, would attempt to use the President's remarks to downplay the remarkable achievements of the Oborevwori administration. Politics should be about offering better ideas and policies—not misrepresenting facts or diminishing visible progress for political gain.

The truth is that Deltans are witnessing one of the most ambitious infrastructure drives in the history of our state. Roads are being reconstructed, bridges are being built, flyovers are transforming our cities, and development is reaching communities across Delta State. These are projects the people can see, use, and benefit from every day.

As the MORE Agenda continues to deliver tangible results, Deltans can look forward to even greater achievements in the years ahead.

As a Nigerian who is almost 46 years old and a psychologist, I understand how many Nigerians react to those in power. We often find it difficult to acknowledge the good things a sitting government does. Instead, we focus mainly on the negatives and sometimes accept opposition propaganda without objectively examining the facts.
If this were not the case, many of us would appreciate some of the positive steps President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken within just three years in office, while also constructively pointing out the areas where improvement is still needed.
No government is perfect, but leadership should be judged fairly. In my view, Jagaban is laying the foundation for a better Nigeria. Some of his decisions may be difficult and unpopular in the short term, but they are aimed at building the Nigeria of our dreams in the long run.
Rather than constantly pulling down every effort, let us support policies that can move the country forward and give the administration the opportunity to complete its reforms up to 2031. A better Nigeria requires patience, sacrifice, and the collective support of all citizens.
