You are scared because you are new to it, not because you're incapable.

It’s natural to feel unsure and scared when trying something new, but remember, everyone starts as a beginner at some point.

It’s also normal not to know everything right away.

Mistakes are just part of learning, not a sign of failure. Trust God and yourself and take small steps forward, over time, what seems hard now will become much easier.

I’m rooting for you.

So far, So God.

It's essential to work on something you're deeply interested in. Interest will drive you to work harder than mere diligence ever could.
The three most powerful motives are curiosity, delight, and the desire to do something impressive. Sometimes they converge, and that combination is the most powerful of all.

Do not conform to the patterns/things of the world. Never let the standards set by the world guide you.

You are a child of God. Filter out toxicity by the renewal of your mind.

It's mutually beneficial.

Hey dear,

Didn't have a good year?
Had a good year?
Look at yourself in the mirror and say good things to yourself and appreciate your resilience.
It's all you that took it all, survived it and are still here pushing. Well-done.

"One of the great mistakes in life is suffering for years because you didn't want to feel foolish for five minutes.

You don't want to apologize, so you let a relationship deteriorate.

You're scared of the sting of rejection, so you don't ask for what you want.

You fear people will say your idea is dumb, so you never start the business.

Nobody likes feeling foolish, but the feeling fades quickly.

The willingness to endure five minutes of discomfort turns out to be a meaningful dividing line in life."

"Whether you are an adult or child, your first attempts will often seem unimportant or foolish.

The informational social media posts with zero engagement.
The early blog posts that get ignored.
The dance recital on a little stage.

Early attempts are easy to dismiss because they don't seem to amount to much. But you have to do the low stakes stuff to prepare for the high stakes stuff. They are the building blocks of confidence, and that's an enormous thing."

"Clarity isn't about knowing what you want to do with your life, it's about knowing what you want to do this week.

You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to know your next step."

These are some of the alternatives young girls and women use for their Menstruation because of period poverty.

Period poverty is a situation where a female cannot afford the basic menstrual kits necessary for menstruation which includes sanitary pads, tampons, menstrual cups, clean water, soap etc. The most popular in Nigeria been the sanitary pad.

The sanitary pad is so costly that families would rather buy meals, pay school fees, buy books, and buy clothes than spend on sanitary pads. The cheapest and smallest pad now is around 700/800 depending on your location.

It is not because they don't know the importance, it is because of poverty.

These alternatives including tissues paper, socks, rags and newspapers are not hygienic and might lead to serious health implications.

Please support us as we embark on this project to Educate, sensitive and raise awareness around Menstrual health and hygiene and share pads young teenage girls (urban and rural).

We are few days away to celebrate the world Menstral Health and Hygiene Day, 2024.

Millions of girls are not properly educated or aware of what happens with their bodies during menstruation popularly referred to as period and the proper ways to take care of their bodies.

Again, most of these young girls are suffering from period poverty and cannot afford basic menstral kits like sanitary pads, tampons or menstral cups.

The Girl A Nation - TGAN in collaboration with The Optimist Team (TOT) will like you to support us as we embark on Pad a Girl Child Project in commemoration of World Menstral health and hygiene Day, 2024.
