**PUBLIC NOTICE: ESGC Disassociates From Betjapa & DME Systems**
The Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission (ESGC) wishes to alert the public that **Betjapa** operated **illegally** and **without any license or approval** from the Commission. Their use of a **fake ESGC license** to deceive Nigerians is criminal and strongly condemned.
Upon discovering this fraud, the Commission issued a formal directive to their technology partner, **DME Systems**, demanding:
* Disclosure of their Nigerian partners,
* Payment of the regulatory fine for illegal operations, and
* Commencement of proper licensing.
After 14 days, DME Systems has refused to comply, shut down their platform, and selectively refunded some victims. ESGC therefore states:
* We have **no relationship** with Betjapa or DME Systems.
* Their claimed license is **fake**.
* The Commission will pursue **legal and enforcement actions** against all responsible parties.
* Any operator partnering with DME Systems does so **at their own risk** and will face sanctions.
Final Warning
No operator is permitted to use the Commission’s name to run illegal gaming or defraud the public.
All legitimate registration and licensing must be done via:
